I love love the gnomes you make…How many have you made so far? You have inspired me to make them, I have to gather up some stuff to do it, I am so excited! Aren’t crafts the best fun to do?
I LOVE this little guy! Sorry I am late- had back surgery, but all is well, just need a couple of projects I can do while recouping :) Where did you get the blue fur with stars for his hat? This fur simply MAKES this little guy and I love it! Your are SOOO talented Sarah and you keep me inspired. Truth! Not blowing sunshine up your skirt- Oops! That sounded better in my head- LOL Thank you so much for sharing your talent and ideas and all your hard work. I will send photo when I get mine done- I have already printed out the pattern, just need to know where to get that beautiful fleece. I hope it isn't here and I overlooked it, but nothing would surprise at this point... I hope you and your family had a wonderful Independence Day 2021. Boop! ;) Hooray for the red, white and blue!!!
WOW, Patti - back surgery? I hope you have a swift and complete recovery; take it easy while you're healing, hon. And you flatter me with your kind words, thank you so very much. :) Oh, the fleece is at Joann's! It's in the fleece section in the middle (not the ones along the wall, if that makes sense).
Questions during the premiere: - Where did you get the fleece? Both the red and stars were in the minky fleece section at Joann's craft store. - Why is the hat shaped like that? This pattern has a large-back gnome and glides along with the shape of the body. - Does the pattern include a sew and no-sew version? You bet! - Have you ever done a wedding couple? Not yet, but want to. - Where are you? Seattle, WA United States - You should make an astronaut gnome. You know, I really should... Now the wheels are turning!
I bake the clay noses using Sculpey polymer clay (the kind you have to bake). I make between 40 and 50 noses and hands in about 15 minutes (+ baking time).

Just wondering where you get the clay noses from?
