Thank you for making these reviews! I am 5’9” .it’s always such a struggle to find scrubs that are comfy and long enough. I bought the Cherokee iflex In navy and I instantly went online to buy it in black after I tried it on 😂
Love your scrub reviews even though at my clinic we have to wear a specific style in a specific color 😓 but my favorite I've tried before that are the Dickies Balance scrubs! Super stretchy and tall girl friendly, and decently affordable. 😊
Thank you so so much for letting us know YOUR size! it's really hard to decide on the size without knowing what the model is wearing. I was struggling with which size to buy for Cherokee, and I'm now definitely going to the smallest size... Thank you again this was really informative :))
It is the disrespectful cat slap at 10:45 for me 😂. Thank you so much for your review! I am starting home care so I’m looking for affordable scrubs that can take a beating but will allow me to squat, bend, etc when I’m providing patient care. What are your top/favorite Amazon scrubs?
Figs/garde malade: For figs, if you order the catarina top, i suggest you size up if you want a little room for movement (i am a L and I bought XL, fits really good).. however if you want it fitted. I suggest you buy the size you usually are. For the rafaela top (figs), buy the size you usually are since this scrub top is a bit loose already… For the joggers/pants If your height is 5’4” and below, i suggest you buy the petit For 5’5”-5’7” buy the regular For 5’8” and above, buy the tall. Garde Malade This is a good brand as well. It is soft, good color and quality. It is the same sizing as figs. The only thing is that on the groin area, you will notice just a bit of fabric bumps when you wear it more than 2x… usually this is normal for scrub pants but I find figs has more good quality and it does not wear easily. This 2 brands are the ones I like out of all i had.
Love your channel Kathryn. Always my go to for anything scrub or legging related. Congrats on finishing school, I’m in my junior semester for my traditional BSN program.
I really appreciate this review. I’m a new grad going into the er and let me tell you… there are expenses that I did not expect and buying scrubs is one of those things unexpected ones.
If you like the Cherokee iflex line, i tend to recommend the KOI - Planet Eco range - they have some ribbing that makes it very form fitting and flattering, not as stretchy as iflex, but enough to be comfortable.
Oooh i bet the high rise of the Mandala joggers would be great for thick women with larger bubble butts. My butt tends to take up a lot of fabric but i have a small waist
You should do a quality update because I loved medico at first but really wasn’t happy how they lasted over time, the fabric looked kind of funny and dull after a few washes
I have the mandala scrubs I like their one pocket top it looks good tucked in or untucked. I don’t love the bottoms though, they are really high to the point where when you sit they sometimes feel uncomfortable on your abdomen, or the band will bunch up like crazy. I think for the price they are pretty good, but yeah I think if I repurchased trying to regular rise would be a good idea, like you mentioned here. Thanks for the review!
Can’t wait to give this a watch. I REFUSE to buy figs . Firstly because I hate being like everyone else and two THEIR INSANE PRICES. Like dude I’m just gonna get blood on this I’m not spending $58 on pants 😂
I’m not as tall as you are but your sizing is mine in petite so thank you for being super thorough. I can’t wait to see more. I’d be interested in seeing a video on scrub reviews from small businesses or cheapest scrubs available. Maybe international idk. I’m going to be living in scrubs soon 😂
I looooove every review you post, since I’m a doctor i also enjoy your health related reviews and vlogs 💖 i think every og scrub brand like cherooke or barco run big, to the point it’s ridiculous and you can’t really trust the size chart. I have never bought figs, and i do want to try them, but since i have trust issues from the sizing on other brands i use I’m not sure they would fit correctly on me. My favorite scrubs ever are the skechers by barco. Try the vitality v neck with the reliance cargo pants. They are super lightweight, stretchy and give you a really nice shape. I don’t really mind that they aren’t water repellent since i get too hot in that kind of fabric anyway. I wear xxs and mi hips are 27” so maybe you could also be that size. Maybe you could do a review for shoes specifically for wearing with your scrubs since i think a lot of people struggle to find cute and comfortable shoes for all day wear, or also lightweight jackets, i was thinking of getting the queenie k for work but i don’t know if i should go up a size or even if it would be that comfortable 🥲 TIA!! X💖
Oh i forgot to mention the skechers are also really cheap, like $42 for the set, and i buy them from all heart scrubs, they have promos and sales frequently🥰
I like high waist. I hate when they ride down when I bend down. Scrubs have changed so much over 30 years. I always woreCherokee I love the waist band .
They (mandala scrubs) also have the one pocket top like figs! I love that one ☺️ Personally, I find their high waisted joggers to not be too high rise (I did order petite) and I’m 5’1. Also the petite was really on the shorter side for me so I’m gonna get regular length next. Maybe the rise changes between petite/tall sizing…?
I ended up buying the cherokee iflex tapered drawstring pants set. They are perfect! So comfortable! I ordered my normal size small. However, I think that style is being discontinued.
you should look into lago to review. They are a newer brand and have a decent fit but what I love about them is that they used recycled bottles to make their scrubs!!
I work in archaeology so I have to wear very different workclothes haha, but I bet this is very usefull for people! I always have issues finding good work pants. They are always too big in the waist. It's already really hard to find work pants that are high waisted and not some awkward midwaist and it's hard to find a lengt short enough for me at 5'2, since fsr they only expect taller women to do fysical work that would need workpants? I wish someone made a video like this for those 😅
I always have issues with the waist being too big just because I carry a lot of my weight in my butt and thighs (and calves) The only scrubs that work for me are Skechers by Barco. I haven't tried figs but I did try Mandala and it was pretty comical how big the waist was on the pair that actually fit my legs and oh my god they smelled so bad!
Have you reviewed Dolan scrubs? They popped up on my IG the other day and they have some interesting scrub top styles. Also these reviews are super helpful! I might be going back to school in the fall for an Allied Health training program, so knowing what other brands exist besides FIGS is really nice
Hi have you reviewed CODE NXT scrubs before? I’m starting my 1st job in healthcare. I watched a couple of your video yesterday so I can order scrubs. I like how you go into so much detail when reviewing. Thx for that
Thank you for the reviews!! I love that pink on you in the with the mandala scrubs, I definitely want those Christmas colored scrubs lol As an avid buyer of Figs I will say they have recently changed their high waisted joggers, the band is similar to the original zamora joggers now.
for when i have to refer back mandala: water resistant cherokee: stretchy TiScrubs: athletic fit, decent stretch, mesh so it’s breathable, but expensive
Hi 😊✋🏽can you do a knight swim review (gabby scheyen’s brand). I double checked and it doesn’t look like you have reviewed it yet, her brand looks really cute and it seems like good quality there’s just not really any reviews out there or not very many I should say. Anyways just thought I would ask, thank you!
I just ordered them (and will be returning). They are not soft at all. Affordable, yes, but runs HUGE. I’m usually an XL, tops and bottoms, in Wink and Medcouture, but I was drowning the UA Butter Soft. Also, none of the bottoms have drawstrings.
@@stephepalmer5086 Butter-Soft Core Scrubs by UA. I got the jogger and bootcut style bottoms and the matching scrub top Style #’s UA373C, UA875C, PC62C
I like mandala but the calf fits so tight for me and they take forever to ship because they’re will ship on dates when the drop certain colors are not accurate
I can't find any scrub pants that will fit me. I wear a 6 in jeans (express) when I try on scrub pants, smalls are too tight around my hips but mediums are huge on me. Cherokee work wear flare pants are the only ones that fit.
I ordered 4 pairs of Mandala scrubs because I was in desperate need for work and ended up hating them :') I have an athletic build and they were just so unflattering on me. Also the material they're made out of isn't breathable and I always found myself sweating more at work when I wore them compared to my Figs
The small fit just like any other small for me 😕 sometimes brands don’t have a good handle on the larger sizes, so thats good to know for future reviews
other great small business brands I clue Lago wear and medicine mountain scrubs, Dr. woof apparel made for women by women and made with recycled materialsa
I’m looking for jogger scrubs in lightweight performance material anyone have any ideas? Like literally the lightest and most breathable fabric? And structured ans fitted- most of the joggers I’ve tried are still way too baggy. I feel like I’m looking for a unicorn lol
@@KathrynMueller you are right 😅 some are more resistant than others imo. I wear Jaanuu and compared to my colleagues who wear figs, mine are definitely more bleach resistant

Don’t waste your $ on figs. Lots of bleach used in the ED to wipe down stretchers and they will bleach figs scrubs
