Hey everyone! So glad you came along to listen to this one with me! Gotta say, this one was definitely more challenging than past comps simply due to the fact that there are so many experimental songs and a huge variety of styles and genres! Hope you all enjoy this one! 💚🔥
NOTE: So if you actually go and check the songs for the comps, you'll most likely be wondering why Gammer's "Roots" is on this comp... Me being the big dumb dumb I am, I completely overlooked Roots last comp. To make up for it, I put it in UV17 to make it all right. Big shoutout to Gammer, as he's actually one of my favorite producers out there! If you're somehow reading this, so sorry for that! 😅😅😓
Oh that's totally fine. You know after my 3rd & 4th listen on your UV16 mix all the way through without that Gammer one (and having both Unfeatured songs by DIESEL contained in there instead) it ended up feeling perfect that way there. The way you put it in this mix here, it actually flowed perfectly better (even during my first listen on this mix) than Vol. 16.
According to the sequence cycle on his one post, I think Vol. 18 might happen probably later down the road (in-other words, Silk Vol. 3 might come up after Instinct 12), but we'll see.
