I love the sensational nightingales I used to listen to them all the time the records belong to my grandma and when she passed away my mom had them and then when she passed away I don't know what happened to them but I show loved to play them all the time.
Nice song. Their harmonies are tight. You know, I was looking at this album cover and thinking. "I really like album covers from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Groups, especially Gospel groups dressed exactly alike. And as I'm gazing at the cover, The LORD dropped in my spirit that it signifies that they are one." And that's what it's all about. When you sing for The LORD you are sending a message of Faith and unity. We are not alone, Brothers and Sisters. We have Almighty GOD and it was HIM who created the human race. Just took the long way of saying stay encouraged Brothers and Sisters. The LORD is in control. And HE has the last Word.
@@unpopulartruth5179 yes, that's a favourite of mine too. Many people thought that it was Andrae Crouch song because he sung it in 1980 because he is very known for composing almost every song he sang at the time, but this is a very popular hit song recorded by The Sensational Nightingales in 1972. The song title and album is really called "It's Gonna Rain Again", but I guessed through Andrae Crouch title of the song, it's mostly known as "It's Gonna Rain". His version is not available on album, but however as a 45 vinyl single. Side B has another song titled "Please Come Back". Sorry Unpopular Truth for my lengthy historic response lol, but although I'm a youngster who had learned a lot. I had so many gospel collections although many were on CD, I even had access to rare to even only available vinyl gospel albums. One for example is Slim Whitman "God's Hand In Mine" (1966) & Kitty Wells "Dust On The Bible" (1959) But most of them are lost or due to me having gotten robbed on my way home back in 2014 or I've given away to a local Radio station (which I later regretted due to the rarity of some of these albums) But yup, been collecting many gospel albums since 2006, I was 18 then, now 32, going 33, as a youngster, I now getting to hate today's modern gospel songs, especially that gospel rap trap crap that's being push out these days!! 🤔🙄😒
@@typrsn1 that's a tough one I like The whole album actually (it's that good. Hard to skip a song on there), but used to play " It's Gonna Rain Again" & "A Heart Like Thine", but if you can, "It's Gonna Rain Again". Thanks brother!! 😃🤗
@@unpopulartruth5179 there's another song also titled "It's Gonna Rain" by Rev. Clay Evans. It's also available here on our brother's channel!!! Just search it up!!!! God bless you 🙏🙌😇
My dad introduced us to the Nightingale I cry with so much love from those memories and my childhood thank you Jesus and thank you Dad
This song will always have a special place in my heart. My Aunt Brenda sang this song before I stood to preach my initial sermon 24 years ago.
Years later and they are still a classic! What a crystal clear upload sir. Wow!
