Excellent, very detailed info Dheeraj. I am from Mangaluru Karnataka. 66 year old senior. I have decided to travel solo by the HRTC Volvo from Delhi to Keylong on August 22 and by their ordinary bus from Keylong to Leh on August 24, 2023. 6N 7D holiday package in Ladakh is booked for August 26 with the first day for relaxation and acclimatisation at Leh. So one additional day prior to that should be enough as buffer, I guess.. Then I shall be travelling from Leh to Srinagar by JKSRTC bus on September 2 or 3, with night halt at Kargil. I have kept a buffer of 2 days before reaching Srinagar and continuing with sight seeing there. Your tips enlighten even public transport travelers by way of taking precautions like carrying some thermal and water resistant gear in case the bus gets stranded on the way due to heavy rain, landslide and slush. Protecting the cameras and other electronic devices with waterproof bag is a priceless suggestion. Like you said, a day or two buffer is essential during road trip on both Manali to Leh and Leh to Srinagar in August. So I have planned my trip accordingly, thanks to your useful suggestions.👍
Hello sir, one buffer days should be OK. You have other buffer days too, so that is good. It is really good to know that my content and video was helpful to you in planning the trip.
@@discoverwithdheeraj Dheeraj I wanted to ask one more question but forgot earlier. If I contact Mr. Kunal can he arrange for a possible sharing trip to Tsomoriri on or after September 2 which is not included in the package that I have booked in Ladakh? I am not sure if a second person's gonna join me, he may decide soon and join me too, but engaging a cab for solo trip and also going for camping on my own may work out too heavy for me. As of now I have decided to go solo.

Kevin you will need to ask the local villager up there who may know the route. Just to accompany you as a solo I don’t think he will ask a lot may be like 500-1000 bucks but in their vehicle then you may be looking at like 4000-5000

Hi bro, I'm planning to take my friends bike to ledakh from Kerala. Could you please send me NOC format.
This NOC document will be helpful in case someone stops you and objects the case of RC not being under your name. Solving the matter amicably is highly recommended unless you want to go into the struggle and spoil the rest of the vacation and money for the trip.

Sir, going on bike solo to ladakh and want to visit Umlingla. Since I am solo can I hire a guide to accompany me from Hanle to Umlingla and back to Hanle? Any idea sir and what will be the approximate cost?.
Kevin you will need to ask the local villager up there who may know the route. Just to accompany you as a solo I don’t think he will ask a lot may be like 500-1000 bucks but in their vehicle then you may be looking at like 4000-5000

Generally by end of August the rains reside the region, in case it does not then plan to avoid unless you are flying directly to Leh in which case as I said in the video, more or less it is OK within Ladakh being rain shadow region
