I did this last year on a beautiful rainy Sunday. Because of the rain everyone else on the tour canceled so it was just the four of us and it was epic. It’s amazing how small the park feels using the crew pathways.
@@alimatt9685 I graduated from ravenscroft in 2010. Played some of the first years the junior canes took over the youth league in Raleigh, definitely some of my favorite memories playing. You still skate?
Hey, watched a few of your videos because we will be there next week! Excellent content and thank you. I have been having the hardest time finding out crowd levels. Seems like Wednesday and Thursday are best, but it’s also 4th week. Don’t know if you have any advice , but we’re thinking about doing Busch on Thursday and Waterpark on Friday. Also- is Quick queue worth it ? We got it at Seaworld Orlando last week, and it wasn’t - but that was mostly due to rain delays. Thanks in advance. Always up for any other helpful hints as well.
That sounds like a solid plan! I don’t think quick queue is necessary and you could always purchase one at the park if it’s really that bad. If you want to ride Darkoaster though I would either do it first thing or last ride of the evening. It had a consistently high wait the two days we were there. Have a blast though! It’s an incredible park 👍
I was thinking of booking the tour over this coming summer. Considering you went pretty recently, I have a couple questions. 1. The website says that you get some priority ride time. How much really was this? 2. How long is it?
If I recall correctly, we got 2 rides each on Verbolten, Alpie, and Griffon. Nessie was typically included as well but unfortunately it was down when we got to it. I believe they have adjusted the tour recently though and they have incorporated Darkoaster, possibly at the expense of one of the other attractions. All in all I thought it was well worth it for the price. Hope that helps!
Definitely a must do if visiting Busch gardens🤩
Totally agree!
You are a cute couple...especially the guy. He has a nice smile!! Thanks for sharing your special "backstage" day with us!!!

That sounds incredible! It’s so cool to see so many of those backstage areas after all this time

Do you get to go into the control rooms and see the panel, sensors, and how the coaster operates? The website says that you do.
We did for Verbolten but I don’t recall doing that for any other attraction. They also might’ve added that since I experienced it.

@@trtvwd Thanks so much! It for sure did!
@@trtvwddarkoaster is on a separate indoor roller coaster tour. Weirdly verboten is on both tours. You do recall correctly the extra ride time.
@@car_tar3882 good to know!
Do they still take you to stand on the top of griffon?
Not anymore, apparently they were having issues with overuse of the lift bucket 😞
