How to Make Aquarium Carpet || Growing Aquatic Plants With Seeds in Tamil

This Video is about setting up a low tech planted aquarium with seeds. In this video I have shown how to sprout plants with seeds. This process can be used for sprouting any aquatic seeds
Also Please Note :
This is not a permanent solution for green carpet...This will last for about 10 - 12 months... For a thick and permanent carpet you will need co2 system and fertilizers.. And avoid adding SHRIMPS, that is a mistake I did.. They are the once pulling out the PLANTS.

If there is co2 will the plant remains long life....for trimming and your Tamil is good
If you are going for co2 system you can use monticarlo plants for better carpet... These seeds are not a permanent solution

Thank you... It will grow little bit... Not much.. What you see in the end of the video is after almost a month... Again depends on the quality of the seeds... And like I said in the video it's not a permanent solution

Tropic or Ada amazonia... Shrimps are not a problem in all tank... Plants with smaller roots will be a problem with shrimps
@@FwrapperAqua it's just a doubt, plants use co2, and exhaust oxygen. In that case would we need air pump for this planted tank.
No air pump not required.... Air pump basically creates water movement and because of which oxygen is generated.. The pump dose not give out oxygen.. It's just blowing air...

I have actually started my planted aquarium using Amazonia ll, power sand, ADA super 4 and used magic seeds. I’m Using Philips LED light for 10hrs. As per the need I’m spraying water if the sand is getting dry. Today is third day and I could see the seeds are not growing and looking the same as on day 2. Please advise and thanks in advance.

Hi , does your light generate heat ? Our it’s just a regula led ? Also I have my for 4 days and nothing yet I have some water in the bottom but not covering the seeds up and I put a heat light any digestion ?
What I have used is normal led lights... Some varieties of seeds take a long time... Or they might even fail... That is a big issue with seeds

No these seeds will not sprout in full water.. It needs damp moisture to sprout

Only spray... Fully submerged seeds will not sprout
What are you pouring on the filter? Do you do 100 percent water change after flood?
I am pouring water into the filter... Because if you on the filter with out water the motor will burn... I have mentioned it in the video.. Please see the video fully

Not really necessary... Basically in big tanks we use other soil as base and about 2 inchs of aqua soil.. So you don't need that much of expensive soil... If you can use full Aqua soil.. No issues.. It's better.. Because it comes with a lot of added elements which is good for plants

Diff tablets may dissolve at siff rates and cause instability and you might face black beard algae or other algaes

Hi. I have a 20 ltr tank that was det up 3 days back and currently cycling. But I want to keep this carpet on my tank. Can I drain my tank, do this method or can the same method be done in a container or tray? So that I can replant them to the main tank after they are sprouted? Is that possible? Also what's their life span?
Life span is maximum about 6 to 8 months.. Depending on the quality of the seeds... Seeds generally sprout only without water... After sprouting replanting these will not work.. They will not work.. So try getting Monti Carlo and place bunches closes to each other... It might work...but will take a long time to mature
