Enjoying the beginning-of-video tip format you’ve been using lately!
Seconded! Gives us something to look out for during the match!
1:47 I'd like to point out this is how one should play wiggly. You are essentially defender support; disrupt enemies to save your teammate!
You talk about it Jake but I feel like no one else describes Sableye as high skill. It does require some coordination but you can easily tell a good Sableye from a bad one.
Good sableyes make you wanna quit the game if on opponent team. Bad sableyes make you wanna quit the game if on your team.
The only time I ever played against CrisHeroes he was sabeleye in the other team and absolutely ruined my day
I favourite Sableye & ban sableye so I can hover over it as frequently as possible to stop my teammates picking sableye, coz it's garbage and 95% backcap at 2 mins to throw the game.
I’m a sableye player and playing it into attackers is the funnest thing lol
As a green badge, pretty decent Sableye, ive made some insane plays with him lol
Things I didn't expect today, a sword video and Spragles singing Coheed and Cambria
how would everyone feel about mega beedrill for unite as a speedster, it's unite move could turn it into mega instead of a gauge. beedrill's moveset could start with poison sting and string shot, evolving into kakuna doesn't change anything (like evolving into raboot) then after evolving into beedrill the moveset goes as move 1: either twinneedle or poison jab and move 2: either venoshock or fellstinger
twinneedle would hit once, give a boosted attack, then you could hit again (like using the move twice) and has a chance to apply poison, the pokemon would focus around critting due to how twin needle works.
poison jab deals a bit of damage and applies guaranteed poison (due to how the build will work with venoshock)
venoshock deals boosted damage to poisoned targets (and could slightly heal because why not)
fellstinger, when killing an oponnent gives an attack buff that stacks and a slight speed buff (could also heal slightly on kill)
the unite would be like a two step move, one turning you into mega beedrill for a limited time, then the second using something like x-scissor or giga impact (x-scissor being like aegislash's unite but in a X form instead of one slash) and (giga impact being like a drill hit that'd knockback like talonflame's unite while stinging the opponent)
it's a rough concept but i think it'd be cool ((i'd also like hisuian typhlosion, i feel like it would be a cool all-rounder))
I love this idea
They should create a quick match event with all the megas. Think about it: Garchomp, Charizard, Gardevoir, Blastoise, Tyranitar, Venusaur, Sableye, Blaziken, Gengar, Slowbro, Gyarados, Mewtwo, Lucario, Absol, Scizor, and Metagross all have megas. Def enough to make a gamemode out of
3:50 "...now i shoot, and you run"
Yeah my rule of thumb with aegislash is pretty much never go into attack stance unless shield stance is off cooldown. Obviously there are exceptions, like if you're in a 1v1 or 1v2 and they don't have enough damage to burst you down
Im so glad I got back into unite. I've missed me some spragles.
I would LOVE to jump back into some more Aegislash games, but I’m all wrapped up in this Falinks business and can’t put them down.
People don't talk enough about triple axel, grassy glide tsareena😢
that was a good lucario moment...cause if luca gets that top regi at 2 it would have decreased opponent teams losing chances by a lot
I see what you did there, aegislash TIP, since its a SWORD HEHEHEHEHE
Coheed and Cambria reference... Nice 3:52
Jake with the Coheed & Cambria reference!?!? Nice!!
I think pursuit absol takes a decent amount of skill if you play him at a higher level, if your opponent tries to counter you by turning around you have to find a way to get your resets or use the sucker punch strategy
Can you try the Wigglytuff Scope Lens, Score Shield and Focus Band with Eject Button. With the move Double Slap e Sing, dis is a more aggressive combo for Wiggly
I love sword but I get wrecked in between moves. I need to learn
I think it's Charizard with no emblems in specific flame and fire spin is decent according to me as it has a win rate of around 80%
I wish all Pokémon had a third move that was a parry attack with it’s own cool down
QOTD: cramorant. Funny bird go brr
5:42 high skill pokemon is meowscarada BUT only when playing flower trick and double team not the shadow claw and trail blaze
Im planning to get back on unite, is there any unbalanced characters like mewtwo i should be careful?
Eevees, Buzzwole I think even though he did get a slight nerf, Blastoise, and maybe Falinks. Few others i dont recall off top of my head.
Charizard is still under performing.
I would just like to point out that despite what he said at the start of the video, almost every engagement he did wide guard first and then sac sword. I just found that funny
5:49 Like tserena,Aegislash,Chandalure,Duraludon and Tyranitar
Wicked blow urshifu is a skillful pole
YESS!!! My main got a buff!!!
As nice as a small buff as Aegislash got, it still doesn't help it's "squishiness"
I still feel really flimsy even in shield form
Yea for supposedly having the highest defences in the game in shield I still melt to a good number of mons and abilities
@@felixrivera4922 I wonder if it's not it's defense but it's HP since the max HP doesn't change
Does zeraora count as a high skill pokemon?
Health of ageislash Is low compared to other allrounders ......in team fights I feel like when ever i dive in ....most of the time get destroyed specially if there some stuns likes blastoise.......but in 1v1 it feels godlike to me......as u can even heal with shield mode.....attacks
Jake! There is a new dodrio skin
Would resonant guard work replacing weakness policy?
Slash is too frail in sword form to benefit with multiple Resonant Guard procs, if you’re gonna cut Weakness for another item I’d just do Focus Band but even then Weakness Policy is so great on Aegislash I feel like you’d drop the Attack weight for one of those items before it.
Scyther my boy doesnt get played enough
As a sword main id like to recommend a different build: weakness, charm, focus, x attack.
Charging charm procs often for Aegislash and gives a speed boost that makes this slow character play way better
Weakness is going to be a staple
Focus band is the biggest life saver on this character and saves you from any time you're caught in sword form.
I like x attack because it combos insanely well with aegis offensive capabilities, an x attack boosted sacred sword can chunk away most of a defenders HP, plus x attack allows the shield autos to heal more and chunk damage.
I'm not a fan of stacking on sword, this character gets punished hard in lane and you have to rely too hard on bad opponents to do well with stacks.
Nice idea, maybe i would try weakness, charm, razor
The only downside to that is that sacred sword has INCREDIBLE scaling with weight. Maybe put a defensive battle item on like eject or something more utility like xspeed to get a couple early stacks in then don’t prioritize them until given an opportunity
@@ItsThePapist it's still good without stacks, I believe running charm plus weakness over weight makes this character more versatile and allows it to tank more damage, shred HP better in team fights, and get out of fights easier (which is hard for sword)
@@jinji4609 razor is a really good item on sword but you gotta have something for survivability
Not having claw or weight is kinda wild as a top 300 sword main. He already has a movement boost in sword mode. Charm can be useful but doesn't outweigh the damage that needs to happen with weight and claw. Xattack is actually a pretty good pick actually
Submission Machamp. Weakness policy, focus band and assault vest. You do juyst enough damage to be a threat and you have enough tank that they cant just focus you down and move on. You go submission and close combat. The double cc immunity means you can go more offensive options and dint need full heal. Basically whoever is a big issue run at them flip them and if your teammates are half decent its a guaranteed kill. Haven't seen anyone play it this way and everyone says its bad. Try it spragels. Im trying to machamp to masters ti maie my point but uts sliw going cuz i don't play often lol. Im im ultra 1 most seasons about to rank into masters but again i don't play much.
No
@@mimikyu6484 yes
@@drdepression4605 Assault vest is bad, but I like the concept of using the unstoppable. I'll give it a shot
Hight skill and not enough played : tsareena, sableye, cramorant, chandelure and lucario
I'm an Aegislash main with 85 battles and a 74% win rate in high ultra league, and the fact that today i learned that getting a boosted attack while in shield form not only heals but also lowers cool downs just goes to show how criminally under explained some of the pokemon are in this game.
Have you tried reading the move descriptions
Speaking of all rounders, hows azumarill floating?
He's good but still falls off late game.
When are we getting the Aegislash battlepass
Fr
Yee
QOTD: Sableye !
I think a good Hoopa can make or break a game, but the portal can take some skill to get full use out of it, and I see no one play it
Biggest headache with hoopa is that your teammates will actively avoid your portals.
I just want you to go into Ray with more than a quarter health, STAND STILL
Imo, Aegislash is one most fun pokemon in PU. The 2 things I hate in him:
1) early game. He is
week in land and even in jungle, his ganks at 5 are not that good. He need lvl 7.
2) if you dont have good first line is much harder to play. When tanks are taking agro you can make amazing plays.
Honestly, Flash Cannon Duraludon. It takes a lot of great positioning and good reflexes to decode when its time to leave. Also, your teammates need to be good and understand your position in the back line.
This is the way
You talk about every Mon in the tier lists, but Mew doesn't get the love because it's hard to play
Blaze Kick Cinderace and the reason is people do not know how to position themselves in good positions. Don't even know how to even use it properly. And people keep saying Blaze Kick is one of the easiest move to use, like Icicle Spear.
I do think Blaze Kick Cinderace has one of the higher skill ceiling in the game, still. Because of the fact you dive yourself in to reposition. And have to decided to even attack or not.
Yeah, its actually easy to use but hard to master due to repositioning thing. I am one of the few who made use of that and yes, I am an intermediate when it comes to Cinderace. It can snowball games if played correctly.
Shing shing
Lucario 😂
Why does Aegislash so much damage😂😂😂😂
I also play aegislash and it's 100% because he stacked well early game
*outplay everyone besides Blastoise and Delphox*
And wiggly, can't forget wiggly
When I played Aegislash when I first got the game like a year ago I was already using that combo. If people didn't know to do it that way then you're a bad player

Honestly Aegislash is more like Aegistrash. The idea of having an attack form and defense form sounds nice, until you realize you get blown up in 2 seconds in attack form, and its not like your boosteds are all that strong compared to basically any other all rounder. Needs a complete rework because it’s complete rubbish. Don’t even talk about its Ult which is so outdated, it’s a weaker version of leafeon’s solar blade.
you clearly don't know how to play him.
@@unknownname8225 Possibly. Of course, Aegis is in the lowest 20th percentile win rate in the game (#12 out of 65 mons), which implies the problem lies not solely with me but the pokemon's tuning itself. The metadata supports me a lot more than it supports you.
