I don't think so, as a matter of fact I hope not (and I find her fascinating). All her scenes in the books were already displayed so, if they succumbed to the temptation of giving her more screen time, I fear it will come at the cost of fidelity to the source material and I still remember clearly how that played well in Game of Thrones.
She was a badass in the books though. "She headed off a stampede, didn’t let them disperse, gathered anyone she was able to around herself and the standard ‘She defended the river crossing with a handful of knights, and shielded the retreat. They say she fought like a man, threw herself like a woman possessed into the greatest turmoil. They stabbed her with pikes as she charged the Nilfgaardian foot."
Rewatching the series after having read the books. Gods I miss Calanthe. A true Warrior Queen with more grit than any King. She & Eist did seem to get along well though, but it was never in a way that made either of them less. She led by example, preferred action to words, and was ready to fight destiny by herself if need be. I also just love her "I don't give a shit about any of this" sense of humor. She was also brutal, aggressive, and vicious. Particularly to her enemies, and even more particularly towards Elves. A true Witcher character, impossible to place morally, just as likely to be loved as hated.
She nailed the character but ffs, could they not give her the correct hair color? Her daughter and grand daughter both have ash gray hair in the book and then the hmu dept was just like fuck it. She can have brown hair.
She is a great character! Really cranked the season up a notch with her Shakespearean tragic fall. It was really moving.
I'm obssessed with her she a badass I wish we could watch more of her in season 2

I LIKED HER VERY MUCH. Badass queen, great edit!
I am actually not mad at all how they completely rewrote her character to a complete badass

She is so awesome :3 Nice work ^^
Thanks 😘
Now Im gay... Thanks
I'm bi but... zero attirance fort geralt ans so much for calanthe... i question my bisexuality xD
If I hadn't already been into women, she'd have changed that.
Then again, I'm not really into women, I'm just into women like her.
The actress really elevated the character here. She was fuckin awesome
She was also Alice in “Last of the Mohicans.” Stunningly beautiful lady and a great actress.
And the witch in GoT who told Cersei’s future
How does she keep her eyeliner perfect through all of that?

All the other Kings were scared of her. The Lioness of Cintra. Everytime they mention her name in the books they always add the Lioness.
Just realized she played ‘Vere Hobart’ in Gentleman Jack! 🤯
What a complete badass
I love this woman
Good video and amazing music! ;)
God i love this video
Was she in "Last of the Mohicans", the pretty blonde one?
Yep the one that fell off the cliff
@@stevemorris3517 jesus now i realized that she was in that masterpiece movie too
she looks more like a king ahhahaha

They both die in episode 1... How they are alive in episode 4. Please answer
They take place in points in time
Play LikeAbot they travel throughout time to tell the story as the character arcs progress, that’s what makes it so special and unique.
Don't wanna be that guy but... She ain't all that yeah 😂
Well, you are that guy. Seeing as literally no one liked your comment. She was a badass
She and Henry Cavill are the only good choices in this absolute mess
C R I N G E
Feminist shit... She is not like that in the books
