I got friends from Laos and Thailand here in Canada and I want to go to southeast Asia someday because I love the food and would love to see the historic places and nature that those places are full of
Right now im doing my bachelor project as an 3D environment artist. And i'm doing a videogame environment in Unreal Engine that is set in Cambodia floating village. I have gathered almost 500 images as reference. But this video has been of great help :) the droneshots are great and you capture the light and colors brilliantly. good job with this video and thank you ;)
I have been watching and subscribing to your channel for a long time and have shared your channel with all the friends in my class. Everyone has subscribed so bless us and good luck to you.
Thank you for the videos. Truly enjoying by watching it. Based on this particular video, we did attend the floating village this summer. Amazing place. Keep going! Looking forward for new vlogs.
Venice in mountine and river😄 this video was so BLOWN and great ... this vellage is shinning beauty ... in the World is most beauty and great places but this is so mistic and also interesting with own everything❤ floating vellage, floating houses is so amazing ❤ it's not imagine that in this place is church, restaurant, magazines ... this lake is so rich, because there is so many happy and lovelly people❤ it's good if have doctors ❤ so this video was so sensitive also for me ❤ but it was so crazy and different travel how i seen❤ good luck and i have question to you... what did you like most?
Wow hanna! Your videos is wonderful. Why build on water? do they not have enough dry land? it looks quite majestic though. Thanks for showing this part of the world. never been there, not likely to ever go there. Old school here!
I prefer to go there in the dry season...you can just go yourself by Tuk tuk and drive right into the village and walk around to your hearts content. I’ve been to Kompong Phhluck 4-5 times...love it.
You are glowing with the excitement after your wonderful day. You have found another gem off the beaten path, and some new friends. Your guide seems very funny , and has lots of good information to tell. Hanna when is your first day of work back in Singapore? I'm really happy to see that you are enjoying yourself.
My husband and I also went to the floating village and knew to avoid the scam where they try to get you to buy bags of rice, but I was not prepared for the scam we ran into. Once we got onto the canoes the woman took us straight to a area with 2 other canoes waiting. They were selling drinks and snacks. We said no but they kept pressuring so to stop them my husband finally said, okay 2 drinks...then the woman selling said "your not getting your guide or driver any thing?" Well not wanting to be rude we offered them something the guide took a drink and the driver took the largest bag of lollies they sold and just threw them in the bottom of the boat. Then out came the books and pencils...We kept saying no as there was no way to know the children would get them. They just would not leave until we bought the books and pencil but we made them take them right to some children and give them the books and pencils. They were not happy about having to do this (I feared the books would just be resold again). Just wanted to warn others of this little scam to watch for. I believe if we would have been firmer on the NO to the drinks we could have avoided all this. Keep up the good work with your videos....I enjoy watching them!
Right. Interesting place but alot of scams. I didn't feel good and the sun was sooo strong, I wasn't able to take the boat for 1,5 hours, I was shaking because of the heat but they didn't wanted to allowed us to visit by car, we negotiated sooo long, we warned them and finally they allowed us to visit by car, but I felt we have been in danger. No one , at the hotel, or the taxi driver told us they can't drive us to the village as we requested. The taxi driver stopped somewhere outside the village and told us he can't go by car there. I said we ask him to bring us to the village not outside. I'm sure the people in the village have no profits. I'm sorry for them.
Joy Cream this is what happens when you go on a tour, you are trapped. Go independently by Tuk tuk, you are completely in control. I’ve been to all 3 floating villages many times by Tuk tuk , never pressured by anyone Forget the closest one, the 2 far ones are great.
Such an inspiring video ! Would loveee to experience this same tour - Which particular tour was it?/who did you book with? Any details would be super appreciated 🙏🏽💫
you got it wrong way around. Chong Kneas is scam central, but Kompong Phluck is the other slightly dodgy one. Having visited all 3, Kompong Kleang is the only one I would recommend by a long way
I am living in Siem Reap but I have never known, there is a church at floating village
that is awesome
welcome to Cambodia.thank you for visit my country.whis you all the best in your life sister👩❤️💋👩

Thank you for sharing my country to the world ❤❤

How lucky to go in the wet season. Unfortunately, we went in the dry season. Looked completely different but still cool.

Similar to the floating houses in Belgium, except in an unorganized way. People are free willy, love your drown video.
Great video and sounds like an amazing day! and Kudos on the drone landing :)
What kind of drone are you using?
How many frames per ser second do you shoot your slow motion and to what speed do you set your slow motion?
Hi Hannah, may I know where did you book your tour to kampung phluk? and what time it started? thank you. (going to siem reap in another few days)
Are you wearing water shoes? Would you recommend packing them?

k i'm always intrigued about floating houses in asia,.....like where're the pipes for the bathroom?😅 lolol
+007thematrix007 Well... they live on a lake so...
CurrentlyHannah ..... ahh i gotcha 😉👍
Yeah, that water has to be pretty nasty.
Congratz on 3k :)
hey Hannah! Skye again lol, I'm sorry but at 2:02 I couldn't stop laughing :')
I decided go to lake tonle sap look at your movie.
I was here 2012.
Aren’t drones illegal in Cambodia?
Sonny Side has his drone confiscated there.
Not everywhere. Its only banned in prohibited areas such as Angkor Wat, Royal Palace, and government buildings.
Nick Smith its because he fly in prohibited area.
So close to 3k!
Life there must be challenging. I hate to imagine where the people use the bathroom and getting their water to cook and drink.
Sick shots
Great vid :)
