Casting emrakul that way is hard as hell, the best way to do it is full colorless with 8 mana total ([pyrexian scapeyard] included) at enemy's turn, as long as that enemy has no protection, you can pretty much "counter" a casted ulamog just tapping the mana before things get exiled and as soon as the titan enters the battlefield.
in that sense, Emrakul is something like a "un-counterable counter-army".
The second I saw Flare of Cultivation, I started salivating for Veteran Explorer. I hope he hits arena!
Yea the emrakul 6 colorless cost got me a few times. Lol You need to be running atleast 18 lands that tap for colorless
what's the difference between vexing bauble and chalice on 0?
Chalice of the void and any other card like it only sees Mana Value, not the cost it was paid to put it on play. So if something coss 0 mana to cast it, the Mana Value of it remains the same.

Honestly every single time I play against show and tell, they combo off on turn 3 and win even through a roiling vortex or leyline binding effect. It seems you got lucky or I am just incredibly unlucky 😅
Like I said super bad matchup. I got lucky they didn't combo on 3 so I was able to get there with six into karn 😄

i think that other eldrazi player scooped because after playing their Emrakul, they'd take control of yours and then have to sacrifice one, causing them to sacrifice all of their creatures
This isn’t the same emrakul, this one gains control of target player’s next turn and since tako had ring protection the ability fizzed and Oppo shame conceded.
I realized I had protection from ring
Liquimetal coating +Karn allows you to destroy the ugin's labyrinth and they lose the exiled card. It also upticks the Karn. Seems better than activating the liquimetal instead and leaving Karn at 3
