    Except a few small parts here and there, I don't know how to play any covers from anyone. I learn by playing my own way which is why I love how you teach, I don't have to be your clone. I do study tabs and watch how something is played for inspiration and another thing I do is "mental practice" I do this in martial arts and for me it translates well to guitar. I grew up on the Rocky series and Mickey had that saying "You see yourself doing right and you do right" . I am working on redoing two songs from Rocky BTW, Elton John's Measure of a man and Frank Stallone's Take you back. Anyways great video bro. SKAL 🤘🤘

    Had something from Fade to Sanatorium. And One other song ;), just in E Minor instead of B Minor. Also sounds like the intro of "Valley of Misery", a song that was circulating the web before St. Anger and was wrongly attributed to Metallica.

    • @jasonstallworth
      @jasonstallworth  3 роки тому +1

      It really depends on your budget as to what kind (if you're on a tight budget, I always suggest getting a good quality used bass because you'll get more bang for your buck). As far as where, look up Replay Guitar Exchange in Tampa (they do online orders), call them, and tell them Jason sent you! They will hook you up with something perfect!

    I bought a Squire Jazzmaster this spring and decided I was going to learn guitar. Since then I've watched a ton of UA-cam videos. There's about 5 UA-camrs I can count on to break it down, show an example, play it slow, and redo it over and over. You got a good channel.

    After hundreds of videos I have FINALLY found my guy! Please don't stop making videos buddy. Besides, I feel like Goldberg is teaching me guitar and that just tickles me to death! LoL! All jokes aside, I find your style of teaching to be exactly what I need. Thanks man. I'm a seasoned player, well, I can fake it well enough but I have just came back to the guitar after spending the last 6 years learning engineering and mixing. I forgot just how much I enjoyed the guitar and being an old man I forgot more than I care to admit but your videos are making my comeback easy and I am playing better than I ever have. Godspeed bud, I appreciate what you are doing and your personality is such that I almost feel like I am chillin with my buddy who is patiently guiding me back to the stage....one riff at a time! LoL! BTW, that open chord C and D arpeggiaded progression you use often is something I have been doing for years and I absolutely love the way it sounds. I also use a B sus and an A chord with it. Then I jump back to an E Major almost exactly like you do it on this video. Sorry about being so long winded but it's not every day you run across an instructor who is as easy to learn from as you. Seriously. Okay I'm done rambling! Peace out big guy! I'll be around picking up what you are laying down! 🤘🤘🤘😈

    Jason, keep up with these easy to follow tutorials! Amazing stuff, man. The way you slowly walk through the steps is perfect. Very cool. thank you very much sir! Also, as a home brewer, I've put together a recipe for a super "pine and citrus" IPA that I've name the Stallworth Hop Grind. Super tasty and only 6.3 abv. Smooth and easy drinking just like your tutorials. Thanks again man.

    Jason is so good. I love these videos. The sound and content are excellent by the way.
    I struggle a little with many US based youtube videos, on a variety of subjects, due to the persons OTT style, Im English by the way, but Jason has it just right, he talks like a normal bloke, is very easy to listen to as well as being both very informative and easy to understand.
    Im just a beginner in the guitar, and find this channel very inspirational.

    Love that you are talking tone! I'm working on shaping my own with Bias fx2 and different pedals, sometimes a mix of both, usually a mimic and drop pedal before going into Bias. Hearing your insights into tone and sharing the actual settings with us I think is big time helpful! I'm learning a ton from you! Gear and tone talk is always welcome here!

    It was good to see this clean stuff actually used in practice. I clicked the link to "Never Enough" and was able to see that what I was doing was kind of easier but harder at the same time. For anyone who reads this, I recomend watching this video all the way through then clink the link to the song "Never Enough".
