Nicely narrated. I do voiceover for a living...a LOT of audiobooks...and I mean a LOT....and you have done a mighty fine job here, young man. Believe me, there are some stink-a-roo narrations on UA-cam out there...but you probably already have suffered through listening to a number of them yourself. Keep up the good work....
Hey Michael, do you recommend only doing so with stems?? is it doable with the original midi tracks? if I export the stems, should I leave everything "raw"?? as in, no sends, no comp, no EQ, nothing??
The most essential question. Plus, all virtual CS libraries come with Dennis Sands mix out of the box. I am leaving that setting intact and than print audio. What then ?
Well, when you want to shape the sound of an element after you have balanced it in the context of all the elements, then an equalizer is the right tool for the job.
A person can talk about this but hearing the demonstrations brings home the whole tutorial and comments. Thank you.
Best cinematic EQ tutorial ever. Less talking more showing, more conretes and music! :) THANKS!!!!
very good advises. Negative EQ is great way to start

So, in what situation would one opt to reduce via EQ rather than simply lowering the volume?

These are great
I'm in love!
Thank you
I always struggle to choose elements to high pass with the eq...and here i see you didn't high pass anything!
Yeah ;)
