If someone comparing with Tejas. Pakistan has also exported its plane to Nigeria and Mynmar and many countries interested in buying it. The cost of making one JF 17 is $ 15 to $ 20 million. Tejas has been refused by its own Navy. Secondly its 4 times more expensive than JF 17. Its even more expensive to produce Tejas than imported planes as per Indian sources themselves.

Its not dependent on any country for manufacturing its JF 17. Pakistan. If your talking of engine manufaturing that can be bought from the market only 4 or 5 countries can do that which is not required. India can learn fron Pakistan as Tejas is a failed project and its useless to compare the two planes. However if someone does not learn even from enemies then you remain behind. Pakistan does not need to buy any expensive planes from abroad like India does.
