As the title of this video suggests, this video is about Vertin, our main protagonist in the game of Reverse: 1999. There are a lot of secrets and hidden lore within the story of Reverse: 1999 and at the center of it all is Vertin. With her ability to brave the Storm, what are the Manus Vindictae and the Foundation are planning with Vertin in the future? What are some of the unanswered secrets about Vertin? @@Kelly-pr8lz nah, if u look back at the scene, u see that vertin is sat at the seat of Jesus while Schneider is seated at the position of Judas.
Another example would be what happens in the later chapters where u see vertin go through a "resurrection" where she wakes up from the "coma" the foundation put her through and starts a new beginning with her own autonomous department.

@@Kelly-pr8lz well from what I can deduce/speculate, there are a lot of theories of her mother just being an older version of herself that can time travel but if we r going the Bible way, it's more likely that she is a different person and Constantine also said vertin is special like her mother but don't mention anything in terms of looks, so I guess that vertin could be an artificial child born from her mother's ability/experiments that is sort of an in-between of a human and arcanist.(Idk what she is tbh)

1. The storm doesn't really 'kill' people directly, it reverses them, which means the time around them goes back to a point when they don't even exist, but if we could go forward in time without the storm we might find them living without any problems again. The Ring is an interesting example of this, as we know that he got reversed by the storm during Vertins breaking out of the Foundation, but we also find an enemy in the psych ward later on that resembles the Ring a lot, which could mean that he was already imprisoned there during the first storm and got back in time inside the Foundation headquarters while his younger self got reverted, which opens a whole new can of worms.
2. The Foundation isn't the human focused caucus but a democratic institution, where, at the moment, the humans have a bigger faction, but given that it is a democratic parliament it could theoretically swing.
3. Manus doesn't just want to reverse for the sake of it, but they like that it destroys the one advantage humans have over arcanists, by making technology disappear or extremely rare. Imagine you need to repair a modern smartphone with the technology of the 1960s.
hm interesting, i do want to ask something i am still confuse one how the arcanist survives the storm? is it vertin suit that they can survive? and the foundation, ullu stadium, and the number island? that they immune to the storm? it makes me wonder the rimet cup event where melania, digger and pickles do they not survive the storm since vertin only save regulus? but then again if we us player pulling them in the banner does that mean we save them from the storm?
@@kuruchitachi5813 I mean that is a game mystery in general, but from Vertins briefcase and Manus masks we know that Arcanists can survive in some places humans can't and some places where both can survive like the Foundation headquarters.

What if the “eye” scar on Vertin’s back refers not to a human eye, but the eye of a storm? The eye of a storm is where it is calmest, and Vertin isn’t effected by the “storm” in the game.
The moon scar then could be either refer to the cause ( the moon controls the tides and time is often described in water metaphors) or a distant observer. Impartial like Vertin herself.

This may be revealed that her number is 0 which is said by 210 that it is the number in the center of the axis it is never changing
Also, the uluru stadium is immune to the storm effects.
So many mysteries about Vertin: who she really is, who is her mother, what is her suitcase ... Hopefully we can have some more hints in the next version.
I need clarity. Vertin uses the suitcase to bring the arcanists and hide them inside right?
Like she got Jiu or J from that time and place and bring her to time travel to another time?
@@FijiFilipi we don't know how they got into the suitcase, or at least at the moment. That is what we should look forward to in future versions
@@FijiFilipi probably picked up the Foundation rescue team, in 1.3 we have investigator Matilduck to call the Foundation rescue team to pick up herself, Kaalaa, Shamane, and Kanjira, while Kumar chose to d*e. and in 1.6 we have Yenisei and.. uh, blind lady(i forgot her name) to do the same thing and get Jiu and even Getian into safety. uh for 1.9 probably the same since Matilduck is the one who do the investigation again
What I most want to know:
- Where Vertin's Suitcase came from
- What is that Wheel in the lake that Vertin canonically uses to summon characters
And no one questions it. Haha.

Vertin suitcase should be from the foundation but I forgot where they explicitly say it

@@Truck-kun11 i think the suitcase is the manifestation of vertin power because every single arcanist ability is unique so it make sense for vertin power to manifest in her suitcase
In the Cave chapters, 37 also mentioned Vertin’s number is 0. Which is the center in the Cartesian Plane or the “Origin” usually used in mathematical equations, if I recall my algebra right 😅 sorry. Origin context also is mentioned by 37 in her Origin Butterfly story. Each number is unique to a single person as the plot says. So Vertin being 0, man i dont know anymore. She could be why there’s the storm, the manus and the foundation altogether. Which leaves me the impression that, the fact that she’s a time traveller, she could have birthed her self from her own self in search of her true purpose. Can’t recall that time-traveller hollywood movie where she is the mother of her own self and her dad is also her self. Damn i loved that movie

tbh, when I first heard that line about Vertin's lines on her back, my mind went the Emerald Tablet (also known as the Smaragdine Tablet). It's the foundation of alchemy "of the west" like Europe and Arab.
Genshin has a version of it inside the artifact domains and shit, if you want to know how it looks like generally. Genshin changed the content to fit their lore, ofc. But the idea remains.

I really want to know how much true there is in what Vertin said about why she is inmune. Did the foundation really experimented on orphans until one of them became inmune (Vertin)? If that's the case, why did they stop, why there's no more Vertins? Or was she born with the inmunity? Does her mother has something to do with that? Was she also inmune, was she also a Timekeeper, why did she just "dissapear"?

I think bessmert is actually future vertin from the ways she reacts to certain things and similar fashion choices.

@@drastia2246 even if bessmert was vertin's mother. vertin has NEVER met her or talked to bessmert, only remembering her being on a hosiptal bed, surounded by foundation staff and mere glimpses. (until, perhaps chapter 6) so how would she even know yenisei, it would only make sense if bessmert though some sort of time shenanigans is vertin thus why it said we meet again since vertin and bessmert are most probably the SAME person..

But It only make sense for vertin to be bessmert daughter because in the jiu niangzi vc after u get her she saying that she recognized and feel familiarity at the arcane spell for communicate in the same language, making the notes on shuori event happen before vertin story. The title also make sense if we see vertin as a successor to vertin mother being another being that can cross the storm. So yeah imo bessmert being vertin is not likely but bessmert being vertin mother make the most sense.
@@drastia2246 i disagree to an extent. then why would they use 'we meet again' as a title? just because vertin may be bessmert's succesor in your theory, it still wouldn't make sense to use that phrase. let me give you an example: if i were to take a similar job or looked similar to someone close to you and we have never met in our entire lives, would you still use 'we meet again' if we were to meet? also this is a game where time can altered at any moment and you can still perhaps meet your past self (vertin) or future self (bessmert). while bessmert being vertin's mother is possible, it feels just as unlikely.

The point being is all of the arcanist in the 1.6 event is gathering towards vertin which is really weird. Getian is caught by foundation, jiu niangzi is the same, and yenisei is joining vertin party which is really weird. Is either vertin is bessmert or vertin is bessmert daughter, the first point cant be true because the timeline doesnt match which leave the second point the most likely.

What I remember in 1.9, Vertin's team and Lucy's team have solved the Cave Puzzle that has given from 37, and then it passed down to The Foundation to make Equilibrium Umbrella. And as you might guess, these Umbrellas can protect individuals from the Storm. CMIIW :)
i mean there still also an half arcanist like schneider that also has a similiar characteristic like vertin, i think thats also why a lot of people is doubt about schneider being dead (beside the reason there so much people like her)
Schneider is completely a human though, she just use a weapon that has arcane skills in it

The future patches 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, etc. is proof that Reverse's future is very bright and the *Quality Assurance* of the near future Chapters is 👨🍳💋. Bluepoch is now at their best.
there would be problems when Vertin tries to unite the factions of Foundation and Manus..
although both factions have flaws and horrible actions, it still will not give them resolve to just unite and find a way to stop the Storm, they will still have problems with the ideology of their organizations...
also, a good take on Vertin's importance to the story and how she can handle the conflicts within...

Is it just me that feel like Vertin doesn’t appear in new stories and events anymore?
She appears in main story 1.9 and 2.1 event story. She don't appear in every event stories because there are some stories she had no reason to be there or can't be there because it happened before she become Timekeeper.
The story was the most compelling reason for me to play, and also the most compelling reason for me to stop.
It is like a poem. The story cites people and actions, but not directions or conclusions. The closer I look, the less I see.

I sort of disagree with the idea that the manus being a little better than the foundation because I feel the foundations a little bit more reasonable to work with yeah it's difficult having to go through all the bias and politics I mean just look at chapter 4
But chapter 4 also the reason why The foundation can be ultimately reasoned with While every single time we see the manus they are far from being reasonable in my opinion they're far too radicalized also not to mention it's not only humans the manus look down on it's also Arcanist that aren't purebloods either
To me it's the difference between working with a corrupted government or radicalized terrorist and at least for me I rather take my chances with the corrupted government

it can be obviously seen by the guy who was working with lucy in testing the effects of the storm immunity spell that he has a sort of underlying hate with enigma due to his nature being a full blooded human. depite him calling truce when dealing with the project he still ultimately feels disgusted with working with him on the same team, thus wishing or requesting that he doesnt work with enigma on future projects
just my two cents though, i could be wrong and he just hate enigma for some reason

I wish there was a choice of having male mc or female mc
The dev did said in an interview that they think about that at first but scrap it and give Vertin one gender so that they don't have to generalized the MC pesonality to fit both genders. This also give them more freedom to develop her as her own character, give her more distinct personality, and explore her relationships and feeling with other chraracters without worry about the self-insert aspect, because she is not a self-insert MC.
