If you feel your stop losses don't work then immediately stop trading. Spend a lot more time educating yourself and paper trade. Only when you've successfully been able to paper trade with a profit. Are you ready for a much smaller position to enter the market. Stop losses do work exactly like they were intended to work. Yes, at times it will hit your stop loss and bounce right up. But the majority of times. If you know what you're doing you can successfully use stop losses.
I disagree with the comments above. AI has changed the stop loss game. It sees the stop loss placed down there and goes and gets it before moving up. if that is the trend.

I tend to agree. The market kept going up instead of pulling back because retail is heavily in puts, so market makers just used that for liquidity to push things higher. As soon as retail goes to calls, we'll see a pullback. The gold charts are pretty dang obvious about what happens shortly after it hits an all time high. It sits there for a few days and drops.

Buy and wait for 5 years then see how it plays out. Personally, I will not sell any of my NVDA shares to buy PLTR
I prefer to invest in large cap companies which have economic moats, good cash flow and strong balance sheets such as AAPL, SCHD, NVDA and Barclays.

Stop losses work fine. They do exactly what they are supposed to do. Not the stop loss's fault if you use them wrong.
