Tim actually was not a fan of the sled that night, not because of the weight (since all three doubled down on a full pull), but from what I recall the sled operator had a brake on the sled that was used trying to slow the tractors down and it was causing issues. Engler was the only one that could actually have made that double pull-off since Art was down and so was Banter.

Back when they knew how to set the sled. Unlike today, when the majority of the tractors are blowing out the end to 340-360 ft. and beyond. Pitiful.
Well it's not really the sleds today. If the first pull goes 299.9 feet it will get rest more than likely. Becasue the promoters want the 330 passes.

Only pulloff I've seen better than this was the Pontiac '89 pulloff between Banter, Engler, and Art Arfons.
