I am SO glad to hear you prefer the heat gun over the torch! I have a massive, deeply ingrained fear of fire or flames. The family business was a shipyard, the backyard was the shipyard full of wood, steel, oils, e. I used to be threatened within an inch of my life about fire and what it would do. I have literally been holding off pouring because of the torch. I have all of the supplies I need to start and tomorrow is the day. I don't care if the cells open up one every hour...I'm using my heat gun. I'm so glad you made that comment! Happy packing and moving to you.
I love that, very nice! I hope you are gonna wait til October before you move here. It has been over 110° every day of July, and over 115° for 16 days in a row now. Dry dry dry, no rain since March 22nd. Hope you like a dry heat, Pizza oven hot! October thru May/June, it is Paradise!! Have a safe move !! 💝
Thank you for doing the dry reveal. It's something I often miss in your videos and with there often being such a difference in wet and dry colors it really is nice to be able to see the difference.
You're braver than me. If I got a painting like you did after the flip cup I'd never have the courage to try and inject other colours into it. Glad you di though cos the result is fantastic.
Hi! Me and my mom tried your technique today in blue color set with golden details and we got an excellent result! Awesome color combination, fresh and positive! Nice tutorial, thanks! 👍
This is gorgeous...thank you for your videos Your the main reason i do this now ... i have 2 hobbies now woodburning Art & Paint Pouring I also follow you on Facebook ... keep it up i have learned so much from you thank you again
Welcome to AZ!! Get ready for the brutal heat lol we moved from Chicago last year, still getting used to it! Good luck with the move! I love your artwork!!
this was amazing, I would never thought about doing an injection, had to save this for when I can get started as knowing me I'd forget.......thanks for another great video
Never been good at art but have always admired it. This is something I think I would enjoy doing and your work is such an inspiration. Thank you! And thank you for your service!
This is beautiful, JMo!! Another peaceful video to help put my mind at ease! My son is in Air Force BMT currently at Lackland, where the temps are over 100 every single day! I am a worry wart, but for 10-15 min at a time, you are helping to give my brain a rest where I watch you do all the work! ;) Thanks for everything you do! Have a wonderful weekend! :) Nikki
Wowza. I never would've thought to use a syringe. I have a syringe like the one u are using & I am most def gonna use it in my next pour. Also, I don't have anything w/ silicone but I do have a coconut hair oil that has Dimethicone in it & I've gotten cells in my pours from this. Love all that u do.
Hey MoJo- I’m so excited you are moving to Phoenix!😊 You will be about 1 1/2 hrs from me in Tucson- It would be so fun to get together! By the way- this piece is gorgeous! I haven’t tried the injection yet, but am anxious to try it
I'm a novice (15 or so paintings so far) and tried this with great results, although at one point my cheap syringe did belch too much paint in one spot. After that, i decided to get a larger, easier to use syringe. I went online and ordered - without paying too much attention - a couple of 150 ml sterile syringes. Yep, I got the ones that are designed to be used once with catheters. Ew. The good news is that they are easy to hold with one hand while using the plunger with the other, improving control over paint flow. The other cool thing is they have a catheter adapter, which narrows the opening even more, allowing for more precision injections. A happy accidental purchase.
Great to see! I want to try this technique. What size syringe did you use? …By now you have settled in PHX. Best wishes! We lived there, south of PHX from 2010-2015. What part of town are you in? We moved in on 8/4/10 when it was 110 degrees, so I know how miserable you were!
I really like this piece.❤ Hey, I bought some Arteza Canvas Boards. In your opinion, what's the best technique to use with them? How thin or heavy should the paint colors be, and what is the best method to thin them down? How much paint would you recommend for the canvas? I don't want the board to warp under the weight.
Hello. I have a problem ! I tried with French paints, nothing worked!! no cells... Give me the brand of paints you use as well as the brand of the medium please. THANKS
Hello I don't really understand the difference between Heat gun and blow torch which you are using. I didnt see any flames in your lovely video. You were surely born with a paintbrush in yur hand 🥰😇
always excited to see your next fluid art hey bro your work is amazing i am also uploaded some of my creativity if you visit and leave some precious comment this will be mean a lot for me
You always look like you're afraid of the torch...with the way you wave it around like the painting has already caught fire. The truth is, you have just as much chance at burning your paint from going over and over and over the painting with your heat gun. You can slow down with the torch...just remember in your mind to keep it moving...but you don't have to wave it around like mad...lol 😅
Super interesting! I am going to try it.😊 Hey....lived in Mesa for 13 years. You haven't lived, until you have experienced the Monsoon. Google Arizona Monsoon. Amazing. Also...be prepared to hand out Trick or Treats on Halloween, sitting in your lawn chair, with your shorts on!
Thank you so much, I googled it and it looks glorious! I love thunderstorms but I can see how it can be dangerous too so I will be on the lookout for them so I can enjoy them with a nice finger of bourbon from my front porch!
It’s beautiful! 9:25
The turquoise!!! Love that metallic color. Enjoy AZ. ✌💗✨

The blue was inspiring and I thought you were going to ruin it, but low and behold the injection method is awsome. I really liked the yellow on blue.

Beautiful! It made me think of the quote, The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.I see the path, it's awesome!
Wow👍!!! How do you stick the canvas on the sculpting pottery wheel please ?
A couple loops of tape on the bottom of the canvas sticks it down well enough to hold it. I hope that helps my friend!
Your works are so amazing.
Thank you for the answer 🙏
I really like this piece.❤

I love that! What brand/color is that beautiful dark turquoise?
I would like to see something in greens-gold-silver
I love it! Is there a specific syringe to use???
Thank you so much, any syringe will work. some are larger and smaller kind of just what size you need for the canvas
Great technique , love it, spectacular, beautiful, gorgeous 🥰🥰🥰💦🌊🌬💠👍

I know haha! I am not as familiar with the torch and afraid of exactly what you just said by burning the paint. Thank you for the tips!
Super interesting! I am going to try it.😊
