Hi guys from Slovakia ! This movie turned out really good, congratulations, I am impressed. I could not stop watching it, it' s so diffrent from modern times movies. I am an old sailor myself, born in 1946, and I was cruising all these waters in 1977 from Grenada to Puerto Rico, with 8 atlantic crossings and much more. I was anchored in Tyrell bay, Carriacou in 2002, and I think that I noticed Paul Johnson' s boat, it was pretty run down. Well, I sold my beautiful boat 2020, because I was getting older and weaker, and my wife did not want to sail anymore. But I don' t know, if I did the right thing to move to shore, I get bored and nothing beat' s the life on an old sailing boat ! 😉
I just watched this film, and it’s outstanding. I’m 65, I’m a sailor, but of “the Great Lakes” variety. In my early 20’s, I did several delivery trips to/from the Caribbean to/from Kanter Yachts in St Thomas Ontario just off the north shore of Lake Erie. My life took a different path and I’ve ended up retired in the mountains of British Columbia, but…….I’m beginning to have similar debates with myself as Paul did - was I a “good” man? I loved this movie and I’ve shared it with 3 or 4 of my friends, each with some sailing experience in their past! Thanks!
Who would have thought that young people from Slovakia made this outstanding documentary. As some one that like Sea and made my boat licence as a 40 years old I thank you for making this story and sharing it with people. The production quality is by any mean one of the best I have seen lately. Keep the good work and Godspeed

Note; when your in 30 degree weather and 90 % humidity it is like you are breathing under water! Destin Florida is exactly similar weather in January !
