Glad to see you're playing out. I saw you on another page, about lonely people. You remind me a lot of myself when I was a kid. At 25 I decided to take playing music serious. I practiced my ass off for years (without youtube, and internet tabs lol.) I started playing out, and the confidence it gave me changed who I am. I poured my pain, and my soul, and my shitty life into it. As I became more confident, people started to treat me a hell of a lot differently. It really opened my life up in so many positive ways at 33. I'm 50 now, and my 30's and 40's were way better than my 20's (I see you're turning 30 soon.) It got me out of the ghetto I was from (playing lame songs can pay very well,) helped me learn to deal with who I am, who I can be, and got the voices out of my head. I can say it helped me find balance. I hope you find something like that in your life, and that it's hopefully music. I'm shallow with that last one. Thanks! I'm using Antony's Fender Rumble 300 watt amp. I'm planning to use a preamp DI pedal instead of an amp. I've seen lots of bass players using that setup and they get great tones out of those pedals! And it will also save my back packing that DI box in a case instead of having to carry those speakers!
Jarred. The truth is, you aren’t missing out much on not having a girlfriend or haven’t experienced a woman. As a man who has experienced plenty of both of those I can truly Say immersing yourself in something you truly love such a music friendship or playing in a metal band is much more dependable and healthy then being in a relationship with someone who is ultimately unhealthy for you such as the people you’ve mentioned in your most viewed video. I strongly Believe one day you will find your person and people like you who are genuine in who they are and pure in the kindness they put In to the world will be the victors in the end. Not sure I agree with that. Shagging about is friggin amazing. I think you could emphasise on the fact that because he’s never been with a girl; he doesn’t really know what he’s missing out on. He could adopt that mindset but ultimately being with a girl you truly love and care about is the best feeling I’ve ever experienced. Playing the field is awesome too!
