Shoot I just ordered this exact same exhaust for my 19 FTR and yeah; you'll want to own a DynoJet PV3 and if you pick it up from FuelMoto or Lloyds you'll get free tune updates. So when I ordered my exhaust, I went ahead and sent in a request for a new tune with all the details on what I'm adding/removing from the bike, like the cat mainly and then in 5-7 days I'll get an email with the tune, transfer it from my PC to the PV3, plug it into the FTR and in a minute it's running like it was built for my mods.
Watched your vid and couldn’t believe my eyes. I too have a victory highball and just got a FTR. Thought that was pretty crazy to have the same set up.
I am exactly the same height and just a few kg heavier. I am considering buying a Triumph Bonneville t120 or a BMW R NineT Scrambler. Do you have any experience with these bikes? Or do you know where I can find good reviews for tall riders? It’s very difficult to find. Thanks!
Ive ridden a bonneville and there is a video on my channel, but not the tall rider review format. I can easily get my hands on one again, ill add that to my list! As well as the Nine T. Ive never ridden the Nine T but ive briefly sat on one and I thought it was OK. But ill be sure to get my hands on one! Unfortunately there arent many tall youtubers as us haha hence this channel!
Dirk, I work at Triumph and the T120 is a joke compared to the FTR1200. Its a great classic style cruiser bike but honestly is nothing compared to the FTR
Do not touch the throttle when you start a fuelinjected engine !
The problem is the person trying to start the bike, not the bike itself. Clearly has zero idea of how to start a fuel injected bike.
Ftrs are very cold natured and also have a 1 push start so you don't hold the switch down.
@@forresterfld Apparently it doesn't have 1 push start.
Did it occur to you to edit out the first 20 seconds that make you look stupid?
Its not me.
After de-cat and new exhaust, did you have to give it a tune?
This is not my bike but you definitely should get it tuned

How well does this bike fit you?
The video is already up! Check it out
Does it not have enough back pressure to idle?
