    Can you explain why CMV negative blood may be used?

      I did a video on leukocyte reduction that you can find here: ua-cam.com/video/si8zlHq4Hsw/v-deo.html. That short video talks a bit about the mechanics of CMV transmission prevention, and mentions a few of the at-rick groups. Primarily, those at most risk are those who are immune-compromised, such as premature infants and patients undergoing chemotherapy or bone marrow/stem cell transplants.

      hey, how come you don't make videos any more? i may be mistaken, but i see you only have 14 videos on youtube, which is a shame as they are really top quality.
