Celebrini is absolutely insane. Really looking forward to seeing his career progress!

    Hey Mark,
Yeah, Celebrini has definitely exceeded my expectations this season and as someone who can barely skate (let alone never having played hockey!) my opinion certainly needs to be taken with a cup of salt! Hahaha I am a long time Sharks fan going back to their first amazing play off appearance against the Red Wings back in the day and in all that time of following the team I can't say we have ever had a young talent on our team with greater potential.
Celebrini has been so consistent and so effective in every aspect of the game that I am forced to conclude that we all misjudged his capabilities and his ultimate ceiling appears to be much higher than we anticipated. It has been a pleasure this season to watch Maclin do his thing and to be honest there is an argument to be made that he is already the best player on our team no disrespect to Granlund, Tafoli or Walman. If Blackwood were still with us perhaps an argument could have been made that he was the best player on the team but, I would emphasize the word "maybe."
I really like Jack Thompson a lot. Did I hear you correctly? Thompson is a 3rd over all pick? Holy shit! I really think Jack is a good player and has a bright future in our top 4 defensemen. I look forward to seeing him develop. He is already good enough to play in the NHL though perhaps not quite consistent enough to hold down a regular spot? I think he is very close to holding a spot and that transition could happen at any moment now including this call up.
Fun show today Mark. I hope you are enjoying your day and GO SHARKS!

@michaelholt32 Another hater. San Jose is NOT a garbage franchise. Edmonton was trash for more than a decade before they figured it out. How many top 5 picks did they have and they still weren't good.

Looks like you took too many pucks to the head as a young kid...or maybe you're still a child since that's how you come across. The sharks need to fix their defense...but this video was more about Macklin. And it's not really a debate...he's the best aged 21 and under player in the NHL, bar none. The sharks were 31/32 in goals scored last year. This year, they are 23/32 and Macklin has missed a bunch of games. He is a stud, and clear superstar in the making.
