People need to keep it in perspective. This team won 11 games despite the qb being hurt half the year, despite all the drops, and despite the youth. And they were maybe 6 or 7 plays away from winning 15 or 16 games. People dont realize how close this team is to being great.
The thing that made us scary last year was we let a bunch of wild dogs running around in term of our receivers/tight ends. We’re not good enough to win playing close to vest pounding the ball
Problem is, those same wild dogs stink this year other than Kraft. Receivers have been a big disappointment which is the main reason they've relied so heavily on the run game. Wicks cant catch a cold, ditto for Reed and hes become a fumble machine, Doubs cant be relied on after he quit on his team, and Watson is done. Time to make Kraft the focal point of the offense and more Malik Heath.
@williamhermann6635 need to up Musgrave too. They should of started playing heath and Melton more awhile ago, maybe losing playing time will motivate our Wrs to actually catch the ball
One and DONE! I have watched a lot of football, and after what I have seen in the last two weeks, there is no way in HELL that we are beating the Eagles in Philly. The vibes this team gives me are just negative, we are just not there! No discipline, too much youth, and too many coaching blunders. This game could be over in the first quarter!!!
This is because ur football iq is extremely low. There are 5 to 8 guys that can stretch the field like Watson. He is a true deep threat and that is a must have on a team. It opens up the field. Pls learn football. Oh also, Watson is 100% our #1. Pls learn football.
He has been hurt all season and his mechanics are shot. This team is just trying to get to the offseason. Any wins now are a plus and cant be expected.
Reed is the confusing one - when he gets the targets he performs pretty well and has some star talent. Goes games this year without getting opportunities
I reflect upon the following about the Green Bay Packers as I remove my emotions and loyalty from the equation: Jordan Love isn't the quarterback this year that he was last year. He seems hesitant and struggles to deliver the ball accurately to a receiver on the run. I rarely notice him throwing for yards in the middle of the field. The defensive line has not performed well this year. How did the defensive line of the Seattle Seahawks sack Caleb Williams six or seven times in week seventeen, and the defensive line of the Green Bay Packers sack him only once in week eighteen? What receiver on the Packers compares to or comes close to the receivers on the Lions or Vikings? I watched the Packers commit senseless penalties this year. I still see the 15-yard penalty (horse-collar tackle) of Caleb Williams on Sunday, the first play of the Bears' last drive. In other words, a team can't win until that team can keep from losing. The special teams unit continues to be problematic, while the draft or free agency must provide a player or two for the cornerback position. Who is the game-wrecker player for Green Bay, someone like Nick Bossa, Miles Garrett, Adan (spelling) Hutchinson, or Max Crosby? The confused communication between Matt LaFleur and Rich Bisaccia on the sideline before Brandon McManus kicked the go-ahead field goal against Chicago left much to be desired. At the same time, LaFleur's choice not to run down the clock was embarrassingly perplexing. The defensive scheme that Jeff Hafley played with the middle of the field wide open when the Bears faced third down and eleven was absolutely terrible. Now, I'll return my emotions to the equation of the Green Bay Packers. I'm a lifelong Green Bay fan, and I say Go Pack Go with unbridled loyalty and passion!
The only chance the packers have vs Philly is if Gary and Clark have fantastic games,it hasn’t happened all year but maybe they finally decide to show up this year

Don't know what it will ever take for the Packers entire front office to be gutted. I say entire because Gutey is quick to point out that GBs drafting is by committee. This committee, granted was intact when Ted Thompson was ill and operating with due respect. But its time to face it. The Packers are the NFL's youngest team because they have absolutely zero ability to gauge talent with any consistency! Guys like Doubs, Reed, and Kraft are lucky strikes. But the catastrophic picks can't be overlooked. WRs: Moore, EQ, MVS, Amari Rodgers all busts. Add in Watson and Toure, Grant Dubose. TEs Tonyan, Steenburger, Deguarda more of the same talent. Current hopeful Musgraves gets drafted a round ahead of Kraft(?) Hello, whats with that? By luck Kraft was still on the board. Van Nuess and Musgraves go ahead of Detroits Safety Branch, but then in the off season your committing 15x that cap money over rookie money on that position to sign Xavier. One reason you need Xavier is because your 2019 first pick, Darnell Savage just wasn't all that!(BUST) But neither was Stokes drafted to go opposite an overpaid part time player in Jaire Alexander who was built small in stature to no fault of his. Stature is important, (i.e Christian Watson, another part timer.) Now in three years nouveau Detroit's GM has put together the makings of a dynasty. Dynasty is what every club strives for but few achieve. The Minnesota Vikings are just two years into making a dynasty. And one piece is a RB by the name of SHOWTYME #33 who was available at exactly half of hi$ replacement! We lost a great complimentary runner in Jamaal Williams for Jones, presumably to be able to afford Jones long term. No knock on Josh Jacobs. But when the Packers Defense gets the offense two and a half scores down by quarter three, the offense is going to a dominant pass game. And who do we got thanks to this front office? Well, with their collective Jewelrys Eyes, Amari Rodgers was deemed better and therefore picked over Armone St Brown, who means so much now to the Detroit core, one team you are now trying to catch. And why is the team two and a half scores down in quarter three? No consistent pass rush QB pressure! Story of the past decade of GBs Defense. Picks like Van Nuess are of no help. But he was not a consistent started at Iowa, so who would expect different in the NFL? (answer: this front office). It's not just me. 11 wins and we beat 2 playoff teams. The Rams were depleted with no wide receivers. The Texans at home by 2. 1-5 in the division and a finger from being 0-6. This is not a good team, anyone who thinks that they can compete against ANY team in NFC playoffs is kidding themselves. I hate to say it but they will get punched in the face Sunday.
Passing game is doo doo of late. Y'aint going far in todays NFL with doo doo passing. If they need a #1 so bad - why were they able to make it work last year as well as they did? Possible it's not the lack of a #1 but the fact that Love was awful for the first part of the season - and as a result it seems Matt LaFluer completely nixed the short passing game (not talking about stupid lateral throws that take 15 min to get to a guy standing still), along with throwing anything over the middle short to mid range? Yeah it's riskier to throw over the middle - but no risk it no biscuit. Need to take some risk even more when you dont have an assassin like Prime Rodgers that can make anywhere on the field work for receivers. Idk how you expect Love to get in rhythm with so many low efficiency throws. How am I so qualified to speak on this? Playing experience - zero Coaching experience - zip Madden - also zip 👍
There is a very small chance that we win in Philly. They will be rusty, possibly no Jalen Hurts, and if Jalen plays ZERO chance he will be dialed in. That being said, can MLF actually produce a GOOD game plan, and play to our strengths-!!??… if so, and he lets Love cook, if healthy, and we get a turnover and NOT give one away… maybe we win like 28-26
Jordan Love has regressed into a less than average qb. He can only beat poor to average teams, although he apparently now can't beat poor teams. He also doesn't play even average until 4th quarter. He a weak arm after 25 yards.
It might be a good thing that Watson and Jaire are out Both did not look good in that last game against the Eagles and week one Jaire looked real bad in week one You got six other wide receivers you can go to plus tight ends We didn’t have a good kicker so. Tucker Kraft already is proving to be an elite pass catcher and TE. Don’t know why these guys can’t see and acknowledge this from watching him play.
