Hey everyone! I had some free time today and I decided to give a *little* sneak peek of some progress in regards to the online client for PlayStation Home. Recently the Destination Home team has acquired Irem Square from a data donation and this was one of my favorite public spaces within Home's ecosystem. Note this video is just a POC/WIP showcasing that this scene works on Destination Home's private server. This test was done on 3/1/2021, and this video is just to document our team's progress. I seen you on the ign mini documentary and thought to myself, I heard of this dude before... then I remembered I've stumbled on one of your ps classic videos a while back. Cool to see you're onto great things.
I remember playing in this space 11 years ago. I will love having to see the old spaces return. Hope that you can somehow get home aligned with the late updates to the ps3 as I have a feeling since it was announced that Sony has closed the ps3 store, there won't be any more updates for the ps3. I like to see if you can get the data that has the gravity crash maze as it's one of my favorite home spaces to visit. Keep up the good work on reviving our home to its rightful glory and be sure to keep this game from dying or if Sony tries to put it back in its grave, don't let them even if you have a secret copy hidden from sony.

BTW DT, if you happen to have Home data on your PS3, you can donate your data to the Destination Home team, which is how we restore spaces, objects, minigames, and more for the online client. @@NagatosRevenge oh okay I understand. You guys rock man, I checked out the original sing star room from 2009 and it was a nostalgia trip. However the music wouldn't play despite the music being in the files and the old ads don't work either on the screen. Can you guys please try to fix that sometime? I tried to do it but I'm not sure which lines of code I have to adjust.
Currently our team is working on the servers lobby functionality, but there is no ETA since we still are reverse engineering the client-server model for Home.
@@NagatosRevenge I still can't believe that my second life is being revived from the dead... Shame about the rigor mortis setting in, but it's reanimation nicely. Let's hope it doesn't turn into a Frankenstein's Monster. Really impressed with the work that's been done mate really impressed! For what it was, I had a lot of memories of PS Home... Hanging out in the house I bought, avd my Stormtrooper costumes... I always wanted to be able to watch movies with friends virtually shame that never happened. But it is awesome to even see it alive in any form anymore. I honestly never thought I'd see it again...
