I ordered 3 Florentine logo locks. I was looking at the Brooklyn 39. Not $ 495. Dooney could make a similar in Florentine. Totally knock it out of the park. For a way better price. Quality would be so much better. Love your new bags. Have same color of nylon in drawstring. I love coach too. I’m not a real small bag girl. Rogue 25. I love. For sure, the Brooklyn is complete hype and not the Coach I’ve known these past years. Only if they hit sale will I buy another Coach bag anymore. They aren’t as thick and truly lush leather like Dooney Florentine

My husband loves Dooney bags out of all the stores we went into , he was blown away in the Dooney store and couldn’t stop looking at and touching the satchels. I agree about Coach. I love Coach but I haven’t been loving the designs and being honest with myself none of it fits my lifestyle or personal style. The empire was beautiful but only when dressed up with charms imo and the charms were the same price as bags . I didn’t have any real use for it . There’s a curve zip coming that reminds me of the ergo so maybe 😂

Hi Julie! First off, that dress is gorgeous on you! I have been collecting handbags for 30yrs, and my taste and needs constantly evolving. I used to work in office and carried alot of big bags. I've been working at home for 10yrs and over the last 10yrs my bags have gotten smaller and smaller. They are mostly for my social life and all Coach. I did collect Dooney at one point and had about 10 small satchels. Loved the leather, but the style and function didn't work for me. Now I generally carry a rogue 25, quilted tabby26 and quilted madison. Our lives ebb and flow and the handbags do too !

When I get in it firing the rainy season it’s hard to get out Dooney has different types of nylon and they are sourced from Italy. They have this smooth one and a rougher one as well. The color is gorgeous. The mail satchel has been on my radar, but I’ve been obsessed with getting all the sizes in the Florentine satchel we both love. Sooo aye next year. Girl friend, I don’t have a mail satchel but now I want one … lol. I love brown, and I love it with black. I would totally use that bag in summer with white clothes or khaki clothes. I love a satchel and for me because I have soft shoulders the then crossbody strap does dig a bit on my should but it stays put. I love the styles Coach makes but I only own Dooney’s now. I love the quality and the styles go well with my wardrobe. I have a minimal pretty classic wardrobe and Dooney bags have the varying levels of styles that just work for me. I only own pebbled leather and Florentine right now but I have my eye on a Saffiano satchel. I own two crossbody bags, one satchel, one tote and one drawstring. 😊 Have a beautiful weekend ❤

We are all trying to find ourselves through bags but it’s hard when we are forever changing. I have a couple bags that I look at and think ‘why did I buy that?’ These pieces seem like a great fit for you. I love a good nylon bag and that one looks like it will be even more functional than Longchamp. The mail satchel is beautiful! I wish it came in smaller sizes as well because I like the silhouette. It’s very ‘headed out to the stables near my Hamptons estate for a day of riding’.

I love Coach but most of the bags that are $300 and under are small where you’re going to have to play Tetris. Sometimes we just need a large bag we can throw our stuff in. Great options! I was going back and forth between this and the pebble grain one too. The reviews of the pebble grain said it was very heavy. But I have been looking at that mail satchel for so long. I was unsure about the chestnut color, but after seeing it here, I really like it. I really prefer the wide opening on the bag too.😅[ADDS TO CART] TFS!! ✌🏻 ❤ 👜
I have a bag for those kinds of outings too. Amusement park, playground. It also makes a magnificent travel bag. At the airport, around the cruise ship, at the zoo, just perfect. Just a little smaller than yours, the Sak coated canvas messenger. it's actually 100% functional with the external pocket and internal pockets, I recommend it. Your videos make me miss my Dooney ...

I agree, I don't like buying bags that are all the hype. I prefer them to be more practical for me. Love the green hobo nylon bag💚 I love the durability & lightweight feeling of nylon bags. Earlier this year I bought several leather mini bags, but I prefer more medium bags for everyday. Love the Florentine satchel its absolutely gorgeous ❤️
Hi Julie, They are both gorgeous! I think Dooney nylon is some of the best. The Kelly green is so pretty! Your Mail Satchel is perfection! I used to have one in the Toledo leather years ago but I regretfully sold it thinking it was too big. It’s a great bag. I think Coach’s quality on the retail bags is really nice, but the prices for me are just too high since I’m used to Dooneys sale prices. IMO Dooney’s quality for the price can’t be beat. Welcome to the DB addicition. Granted they have issues sometimes but their leather is amazing and no other brand can compete. At this point I think of MK, Coach and Kate Spade like novelty bags. But Dooney class of their own. Chestnut and Bordeaux are two of my favorite colors. I have the nylon hobo in olive great for rainy wet day. Enjoy!
You got that right! It's an addiction and I'm okay with it. Because the bags are classics. Coach is nice but you're right, very very trendy and overall much smaller bags with too many compartments at times! I still enjoy Coach but feel like I'd only want to buy them on a sale

Beautiful choices! I have the same mail satchel, same color and LOVE it!! The Wayfarer is also great! Ok… Coach…. I order both the navy quilted tabby 26 after seeing your video, and the times square tabby in the burgundy…. And…. I sent them both back! I can’t believe it. They were both stunning, but the times square was just too small. I am over the tetris game with my bags. I loved everything about it, but the size just will not work. For that price, I want a bag that works and makes me smile. The quilted tabby, oh my lord it is gorgeous, but it almost had too much organization for me, which made it fiddly, does that make sense? I still wanted to keep it because it is so beautiful, but the deal breaker was the leather below the C clasp. After opening and closing it 3 or 4 times, it seemed to already be crinkling or squishing. I thought oh Lord after I just it for a few weeks that is just not going to wear well. Again, for that price, the worries were too much. I agree with you Dooney just does it right. The quality, the designs, and the price point. I just don’t see them being beat. Coach is out of control with the pricing. Did you see the price of the coach NYC themed bag charms??!! Insanity! Anyway another great video, and beautiful choices! 😊
Coach has been and always been high qulity in my opinon. I think they are improving. I just boght a wallet for $75 and I love it! the leater smells very nice too.

The huge crazy ones are crazy (Coach). I love the largest Times Square bag but so far they’re only selling it in black; I have enough black bags. I like the big, soft leather bag with the chain and the charm, but altogether it weighs 3.2 pounds!! Thanks for sharing, Julie, especially like the chestnut satchel (brown?).
Coach prints on the bag natural or gloves tanned leather. I think it looks cheap. They don’t seem to have many sales. Their price point is a little high for contemporary bags.
They do, it looks very uniform and not necessarily natural..I agree. But I still love the ones I've collected. It's true their bags are coming in at higher price points and I think a lot of it is the branding of the name.
I actually been eyeballing the mail satchel bag for a while, in both the pebble leather and the Florentine leather. My issue is that Dooney isn’t consistent with putting the weight of the bag on the website and I don’t want to buy it and then it’s too heavy for me.

I feel like the prices have gone up with Coach and I don’t love it. However, the Brooklyn is one of their “lower” ones (if you get the smaller one and that feels worth it. To me at least. I did splurge on the Empire Carryall 40 only because of the leather but I just shared on my video how I don’t love Coach’s glovetanned leather nowadays. But the leather on the 40 size is actually very nice. But it better be at its price point. However, I think I’m slowing down after these latest purchases from Coach. I’m tempted by one of these satchels from D&B and also think their Florentine leather is chefs kiss!

I like that it is roomier than the mini ( which I have and love) but the weight…Right now the weights are all wrong on the Dooney websites, but I seem to recall the Florentine med. mail satchel being listed at 2lbs 11oz. Do you think it is that heavy?

I love a satchel and for me because I have soft shoulders the then crossbody strap does dig a bit on my should but it stays put. I love the styles Coach makes but I only own Dooney’s now. I love the quality and the styles go well with my wardrobe. I have a minimal pretty classic wardrobe and Dooney bags have the varying levels of styles that just work for me. I only own pebbled leather and Florentine right now but I have my eye on a Saffiano satchel. I own two crossbody bags, one satchel, one tote and one drawstring. 😊 Have a beautiful weekend ❤

@@agentbagreviews Yes, so many of us love Dooney. I did end up ordering the Saffiano small domed zip satchel in black. 🤞🏼Fingers crossed it’s what I have hunting. I want a bag that is slightly dressier to use with a nicer dress or pants and I feel the Saffiano has a nice elevated look. I hope you get lots of use out of your new bag 💖💖

We are all trying to find ourselves through bags but it’s hard when we are forever changing. I have a couple bags that I look at and think ‘why did I buy that?’ These pieces seem like a great fit for you. I love a good nylon bag and that one looks like it will be even more functional than Longchamp. The mail satchel is beautiful! I wish it came in smaller sizes as well because I like the silhouette. It’s very ‘headed out to the stables near my Hamptons estate for a day of riding’.

She said Coach has slacked in quality if you compare current leafher to their originals, there is no comparison and she said prices are rising too much for Coach as well. Nice dress…love the boho style! Love the size and style of the bags. The hobo looks great with the strap. I love Coach but most of the bags that are $300 and under are small where you’re going to have to play Tetris. Sometimes we just need a large bag we can throw our stuff in. Great options! I’m rocking the Madewell Piazza crossbody. I got it on sale and it’s been a great bag to throw all my stuff in.

I was going back and forth between this and the pebble grain one too. The reviews of the pebble grain said it was very heavy. But I have been looking at that mail satchel for so long. I have a bag for those kinds of outings too. Amusement park, playground. It also makes a magnificent travel bag. At the airport, around the cruise ship, at the zoo, just perfect. Just a little smaller than yours, the Sak coated canvas messenger. it's actually 100% functional with the external pocket and internal pockets, I recommend it. Your videos make me miss my Dooney ...

I used to have one in the Toledo leather years ago but I regretfully sold it thinking it was too big. It’s a great bag. I think Coach’s quality on the retail bags is really nice, but the prices for me are just too high since I’m used to Dooneys sale prices. IMO Dooney’s quality for the price can’t be beat. Welcome to the DB addicition. Granted they have issues sometimes but their leather is amazing and no other brand can compete. At this point I think of MK, Coach and Kate Spade like novelty bags. But Dooney class of their own. Chestnut and Bordeaux are two of my favorite colors. I have the nylon hobo in olive great for rainy wet day. Enjoy!
You got that right! It's an addiction and I'm okay with it. Because the bags are classics. Coach is nice but you're right, very very trendy and overall much smaller bags with too many compartments at times! I still enjoy Coach but feel like I'd only want to buy them on a sale

Ok… Coach…. I order both the navy quilted tabby 26 after seeing your video, and the times square tabby in the burgundy…. And…. I sent them both back! I can’t believe it. They were both stunning, but the times square was just too small. I am over the tetris game with my bags. I loved everything about it, but the size just will not work. For that price, I want a bag that works and makes me smile. The quilted tabby, oh my lord it is gorgeous, but it almost had too much organization for me, which made it fiddly, does that make sense? I still wanted to keep it because it is so beautiful, but the deal breaker was the leather below the C clasp. After opening and closing it 3 or 4 times, it seemed to already be crinkling or squishing. I thought oh Lord after I just it for a few weeks that is just not going to wear well. Again, for that price, the worries were too much. I agree with you Dooney just does it right. The quality, the designs, and the price point. I just don’t see them being beat. Coach is out of control with the pricing. Did you see the price of the coach NYC themed bag charms??!! Insanity!

The huge crazy ones are crazy (Coach). I love the largest Times Square bag but so far they’re only selling it in black; I have enough black bags. It must be frm a previous season because I just searched all 11 pages of dresses on their website & couldn't find it.
Coach prints on the bag natural or gloves tanned leather. I think it looks cheap. They don’t seem to have many sales. Their price point is a little high for contemporary bags.
They do, it looks very uniform and not necessarily natural..I agree. But I still love the ones I've collected. It's true their bags are coming in at higher price points and I think a lot of it is the branding of the name.

I actually been eyeballing the mail satchel bag for a while, in both the pebble leather and the Florentine leather. My issue is that Dooney isn’t consistent with putting the weight of the bag on the website and I don’t want to buy it and then it’s too heavy for me.
I'll probably wear one of my emperiente monogram leather never fulls this fall a lot. I don't bring handbags to work.

I feel like the prices have gone up with Coach and I don’t love it. However, the Brooklyn is one of their “lower” ones (if you get the smaller one and that feels worth it. To me at least. I did splurge on the Empire Carryall 40 only because of the leather but I just shared on my video how I don’t love Coach’s glovetanned leather nowadays. But the leather on the 40 size is actually very nice. But it better be at its price point. However, I think I’m slowing down after these latest purchases from Coach. I’m tempted by one of these satchels from D&B and also think their Florentine leather is chefs kiss!

I like that it is roomier than the mini ( which I have and love) but the weight…Right now the weights are all wrong on the Dooney websites, but I seem to recall the Florentine med. mail satchel being listed at 2lbs 11oz. Do you think it is that heavy?
I don’t believe it’s that heavy at all. It’s lighter than the regular satchels. Probably closer to 2 pounds even!
