Amazing! I found you searching for panel welding as my bus is filled with awful awful rust. Shouldn’t have bought it really. But your videos have given me HOPE! Thank you so much!
Thanks Joe, been waiting for this video to complete the trilogy! I have a 67 camper and you given me the knowledge and confidence to start tackling some of the jobs needed myself.
Great video again! Plenty of useful advice and good to see the step by step process. I have never welded before and my old Mini needs a few repairs. Tempted to have a go myself
that work you have done is very professional, you are very good in what you are doing and taking the time to explain it all. great work and lets see what the next video will bring with more art work. well done Joe.
I'm about to take on some similar work on my Vanagon. I was going to replace the full panels, but after watching your video here, I think I'm going to try and save as much of the original metal as possible. Thanks for the content. I've liked and subscribed. Cheers
I am certainly getting better at welding, but doing it outside makes me rush a little bit. Gotta get more patient because holy hell that is a beautiful weld Joe!
@@Joesrustbuckets I just got a big tent! Certainly helps with the sun beating down. I do like the ventilation though! A nice breeze keeps the air clean~
Hi Joe Great video full packet with great content and advice on how to weld the right way, you do great work, Joe, especially for those who are willing to learn something, well-done Buddy, thanks for sharing and giving your knowledge, generously further🇮🇪👍🏻🙏🏻☮.🇳🇴🇳🇱🤗 Greetings Hubertus.
Hi Geoff, yes there’s a fine line between the two. However it can be widened a bit more by following theses tips and tricks, 1 make shure you are only pushing enough welding wire, meaning slacken off your pinch roller until in just pushes the the wire and no more than that, if it’s tight on the wire, it will push through 2mm or even 3 mm. 2 pull your trigger for a shorter period of time, 3 turn down your settings one step at a time, When you combine all 3 items above you will find success of that there is no doubt. Finally practice these techniques for a half an hour or more on some scrap 1mm , do some but joints, and you’ll soon see how easy it can be, Hope this helps Geoff, Happy Xmas and best wishes for the new year 🤙
JOE!!! I didn't know you had a channel and I did not know you had such mad skills 💯
Was not expecting a 4 hour master class in rust repair. Thank you!
