Came here 13 years ago • Midgham Level Crossing and 8 years ago • Midgham Level Crossing Since then the line has been electrified, the halogen lights have been replaced and the price of a ticket to London has risen from £20.40 to £27.30. A barrier light still hides behind a fence however. There is no yellow box here nor any 'Keep Crossing Clear' signs. In fact there is nowhere to put them anyway. There were such signs at the next crossing along • Ufton Level Crossing but they didn't prevent the 2004 crash which killed 6 on the train.
