You can’t get any more 1970’s than these character designs
I bet they were based on the MC5
“Thats not Tasha Yar Naked! that’s the hair bear bunch!”
You beat me to it but so glad someone else thought of it 🤣
😂😂
Bididi-Bididi You Got Screwed Buck.
😵💫 THAT’S IT!!! 😵💫
THAT'S NOT TASHA YAR NAKED, THAT'S THE HAIR BEAR BUNCH! 😆 Welcome to Eltingville
Eltingville brought me here.
Let's split! On an invisible bike. Pure genius. 😂
British teatime TV during my childhood!
Oooh oooh, Mr Beasley!
The original we bare bears
So true
Rainbow Phoenix That’s right
So We Bare Bears, which is one of Cartoon Network's most popular shows, is the spiritual sucessor to Hanna Barbera's Help!..... It's the Hair Bear Bunch!
Because both shows are owned by WarnerMedia.
I literally just said that while watching this 😂 lmao
I remember watching this as a kid, I thought the invisible motorcycle was the coolest thing ever! I even imagined I had an invisible motorcycle which I rode around the house :)
I, too, liked this show. I thought that Bananas was funny.
Those METE'CHE.....zookeepers....always up in thier stuff .....killing buzz an what.
The seventies where so good I wish I could go back just once.
Hair Bear, another legendary character from Daws Butler.
I'll follow you to the end of the net my friend
Yep. The Mel Blanc of Hanna-Barbera cartoons.
Daws Butler voiced Hair Bear? No wonder why I thought he sounds a little like Yogi.
Mr Peevley voiced by Paul Winchell and his sidekick voiced by Joe E. Ross!
@@mrmjb1960 I thought Mr. Peevely was voiced by John Stephenson, there's something I didn't know...
I fondly remember this theme. I'd forgotten how imaginatively it used cowbells in its musical arrangement. My other fond memory was playing a board game based on this show with a boy I was babysitting, spinning the spinner and watching it land on "Mr. Peevly 3," "Botch 5," etc. After the game he declared, "I wanna read a book." Now that was what I called motivation - reading instead of indulging in Saturday morning fare like this! Ah, memories. Thanks for posting!
This is why I loved the 70,s 😃
Same here
SO. MUCH. COWBELL!!!
Mason Cook walken approved
Need more cowbells.
Lynn Loud Sr. must've been part of the show's production crew
@@ToyGuruMan Nah, he'd ask for more.
I got a fevah! And the only prescription, is more cowbell!
Brings back memories of the 1970s. Crazy cartoons I love them
I'm fifty and had totally forgotten how much I loved this as a kid until just now.
*Unleaded nostalgia.* Who else grew up watching this on Boomerang?
Hair Bear Bunch always reminded me of an animated Hogan's Heroes.
Agree with'cha!!!
One of my best childhood memories.
Oooh Oooh Mr Peevly!
I've never forgotten that theme song.
I just about absolutely freaked seeing a Funko Pop of Hair Bear...I grew up watching the re-runs of this counterculture treasure and seeing it get one of the most popular collectibles out there makes me happy. :D
I'm excited I got to order the Hair Bear Funko Pop that was exclusive to their store yesterday. Only 1,000 made! Can't wait to have a piece of vintage cartoon awesomeness on my shelf!
Wow!
In wonderland zoo, we're the certain bears who
Stay at home every night, Never quarrel or fight
Aw, we don't even bite
So don't yell, "HELP, HELP, HERE COME THE BEARS!!!"(3×)
LET'S SPLIT!!!!!"
So don't yell, "HELP, HELP HERE COME THE BEARS!!!" (3×)
LET'S SPLIT!!!!!
Help! It’s the Hair Bear Bunch!
I like the part in 5/4 meter!
Urchin bears
@@lumsdot When I watched it as a kid, I heard it as "surgeon bears."
Sandy Melton Haha I had ‘the Sargent Bears do’ until now 😃
The Hair Bear Bunch, is possible, one of the greatest shows ever, they rule man.
This takes me back to the 70’s…. 👍🍻 anyone who had an Afro we’d call Hair Bear Bunch lol
I miss watching these old shows.
I'm surprised they never did a crossover with Yogi Bear.
my childhood
Shunsuke Uchida vvv
The nostalgia feels right
Yusaku Itou Agreed Totally
This was great I rember it well, and every time I see three dudes on a bike it reminds me of the hair bare bunch ❤
This has bought back so many memories.
Welcome To Eltingville's pilot brought me here.
Back when Hannah-Barbara was the ultimate cartoon provider.
Barbera
I loved this cartoon when I was young! Thanks for posting!
*Marvel producers discussing the next sequel:* _"Mr. Cage, we're not sure we understand why Ghost Rider would need an invisible motorcycle..."_
*Nicolas Cage:* _"You millennial d-bags weren't born yet, but there's this cartoon I remember from back in the 70's..."_
This show was released in the 70s wow
@@sandralewis230 to be exact 1972
Totally takes me back to my favorite cartoon!!! Help Help Hear Come The Bears!!!
used to love this as a kid got them all on dvd
Mr. Peevley: I'm in complete control of the Wonderland Zoo!
Hair Bear: Oh really?
Always admired the way Peavley would berate his subordinate Botch...for botching whatever he is asked/paid to do
every saturday morning in the 70s, then the great grape ape was on, then, inch high private eye and so on, HAHAHA i keep watching it and i only just realized after all this time how wierdly funny this intro is
Ah, yes: the Hair Bear Bunch-Hanna-Barbera's answer to Tennessee Tuxedo and Chumley. I watched them a lot in Cartoon Network's diaper days.
When Cartoon Network was actually something special, and worth watching!
daws & don messick absolutely legends !!!
Brings back memories of school days.😀
One of the best memories of my youth 🤗
Wow they aired in 1971, i was born in 89 and im a fan of this cartoons!
a very cool and imaginative song.
Why did so many brilliant cartoons only run for a year or two ?!
This was a deep social comment when I was 13... just a funny show. thanks for posting this.
Use to be one of my favorites as a kid
Ooh ooh mr. peevly
Its the bears, its the bears 😂😂
Joe E. Ross' Final project.
@@mrmjb1960 Not quite, He was the voice of Sarge in Hong Kong Fooey three years later.
Takes me back to my Boomerang days.
An invisible motorcycle I like that I never noticed that before until now lol 😂
Came here because the theme song randomly popped in my head.
I remember I used to watch reruns of this on Boomerang.
Thank You USA Cartoon Network for playing this constantly 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 !!!
I remember watching this show on USA's Cartoon Express back in the day, around 1984.
Precious memories.
Classic cartoon.
start to sing along with the theme song.
I do remember this very well. Watched this every week when it first aired. My favorite character on this was Botch. He always botched things up I guess that's how he got his name. Loved how he would say ohhh ohhh Mr Peevly!! Botch would keep you laughing. Also a very cool theme with the cowbells.
@jimmypatterson9472 Did you watch Hong Kong Phooey? The Sarge had the same voice as Botch, including the "Ooh! Ooh!".
Why do i remember this? I forgot it till now
Who's watching this after watching the pilot of The Eltingville Club.
I loved their cave
Love the hair bear bunch
We got a trio of hippie bears voiced by Huckleberry Hound, Aquaman, and Tigger. Interesting cast
Absolute Best theme for a Cartoon .
Glasgow Rangers should really have adopted this for their own reasons and I'm a Tim.
Love it🐻
Watched this as a kid in the 80s on USA Cartoon Express
As a kid, I had one of the old metal lunch boxes withe the hair bear bunch on it, also one with snoopy and charlie brown. Those were the best lunch boxes *sigh* reminiscing
I miss those days. I had a Hong Kong Phooey lunchbox in the mid-'70s. I was in the fifth grade at the time; took a lot of $#*! from seventh graders at the time. Wish I'd held onto it, not for monetary reasons, but sentimental ones.😌
Did you know that the actor and former wrestler Dave Bautista collects vintage lunchboxes? I once saw some pics of his collection in WWE Magazine. I thought it was great, particularly a vintage Superman that was the centerpiece.
@hubbasgirl8956 I had a Help! It's The Hair Bear Bunch lunchbox when I was in first grade (1973 to 1974).
Good cartoon back in the day I remember looking at cartoon usa
I LOVED THIS SHOW AS A KID I THOUGHT THEY WERE THE COOLEST BEARS NEXT TO YOGI AND BOO BOO
Took me back to eating my cereal before school 😢
Amazing ! : )
Thank God for youtube.
there were powerhouse bumpers for this show
I always thought one of the bears was a lion.
Yeah, so did I.
This isn’t Tasha Yar naked.
I love hair bunch
Underrated Show
Underrated by whom? Seems to be penty of admirers to me.
They were called the Hair Bear Bunch but only one of them had any unusual hair to speak of.
But he was a particularly hair unusual individual.
He was called Hair Bear and they were his bunch. I think that's how it works.
Colin Kaepernick totally copied his hair.
I always thought he was a lion because of that.
That just sent me back
I remember Help!... It's the Hair Bear Bunch!
the hair bears litterally got into a invisible boat mobile.
It's Too Bad They Don't Make Cartoon T.V Shows Like This Anymore Best Believe It's The Honest Truth.
No Brasil, na Rede Bandeirantes era conhecido como “O Urso do Cabelo Duro”!
Here come the Bears 🐻🐻🐻

-
Josh : "That's it!" *Explode rage*

Me : Lol sillies
Love this show!!!
I love the style of the old vintage cartoons. Today's cartoons are CRAAAPPP. I think they forgot why cartoons were entertaining.
There are many reasons why today’s content is mediocre or just awful. The main reason is it lacks soul. Older cartoons such as this one actually tried to please their viewers with good quality stories, characters, and humor.
Honestly, I disagree. There are many good cartoons nowadays, you just have to know where to look. We Bare Bears, Gravity Falls, Avatar the Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, Steven Universe, Star vs The Forces of Evil, Young Justice, Tales of Arcadia, Race to the Edge, Adventure Time and She-Ra are all very good, for example. Just because they're new, doesn't mean they're bad.
@@suggividion2728 That's honestly not true. Gravity Falls, Avatar, Young Justice, Tales of Arcadia and many more all have great stories and characters.
Julian Doop I respect your opinion, but I hate most of the shows you’ve mentioned.
Julian Doop I hate We Bare Bears, Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, Star vs the Forces of Evil, Young Justice, Tales of Arcadia, Race to the Edge, and Adventure Time.
She-Ra is a knockoff of the original series.
Legend of Korra is just meh.
The only show on your list that I agree with is Avatar.
As for the rest, I honestly couldn’t care any less about them.
In the Wonderland Zoo, we're the certain bears who,
stay at home every night, never quarrel or fight,
AW, WE DON'T EVEN BITE!!!
SO DON'T YELL HELP! HELP!

Ooh ooh! Mr Beasley!

The Successor to Yogi-kun.
No, I did not see Yogi Bear. The truth is that HB was trying to re-invent Yogi by morphing him into Hair Bear. And Ranger Smith was morphed into Mr. Peevly. Another similarity to another HB cartoon was Botch, who was a fat version of Bungler, from Around the World in 79 Days in the Cattanooga Cats. Even Bungler resembled Stan Laurel (Laurel & Hardy).
I’d Still Totally Would’ve Like To See The Equistria Girls And The Scooby Gang Hanging Out With The Hair Bear Bunch
Yes, the Hair Bear Bunch certainly should've put in an appearance in DC Comics' Scooby-Doo! Team-Up. The title ended with issue #50, but there were still plenty of team-ups to be had. Birdman, for example.
0:43 Help! It’s the Hair Bear Bunch!
The line at 0:08 I remember in the 90s CBBC asked the veiwers to write in what they thought he said. When I listen to it I hear, "Where the searching bear zoo." But that doesn't really make sense.
