Can the rig the claw to the payout ? I feel like these machines are rigged regularly to not be able to pick up prizes because they use prizes that are heavier then the claws grip strength

@@DocbritoFMFyes on the inside of the machine is a computer program and they have a payout which means after a certain amount of money is placed in the machine that is when the claw actually grips at full strength giving you more of a chance to win.
@stne066 , as a person who used to fix and fill claw machines, you have to adjust the payout number to how much the prize is worth. You also have to adjust the claw strength to the prize the claw is trying to pick up.
i like how the claw has the grip strength of a 100 year old man with arthritis.
Claw machines are one of the most rigged machines you can play. You would have better odds throwing many at a rigged mafia Casio. The odds are that low

Jokes on you, the claws are ALWAYS rigged. They only gain grip strength when the programming denotes enough money has been put into the machine.

@@robertgronewold3326 A lot of them are if they're more modern machines. Some older claws still have fixed strength and are much more skill based.
That said though you can still fairly easily win on a claw that's got a payout mode on it outside its payout window *if* the items in the claw have something that's easy to loop the claw around. That's where a lot of my previous wins in heavily rigged machines came from.

Lol you can see the claw fall open as any weight was put onto it.
You can obviously tell that that particular claw is definitely rigged way too far in the favor of the owner. That's absolutely ridiculous how loose those claws were and how easily that plush slipped out.

@@Notahacker420I have a 10 yrs old Macbook bcs then I was doing a lot of video editing and that thing was like 4 time faster than my built with OC FX 3150 and 270X crossfire.
10 years later, I have a Ryzen 7 and 2080ti and that thing still keep up with the video rendering times, truly impressive how easy optimizing software is when U have a given hardware instead of the random components ppl put in their builds.

The Apple you’re describing didn’t start happening until 2016-ish.
Up until 2015, Apple products were still very repairable (albeit tedious), and Apple was still a somewhat respectable company. I hate Apple as much as the next person, but as someone who *uses* some of that 10+ year old tech that still works, you could not be further from the truth.

That machine has no hold strength. The grab strength is okay, but as soon as you get it to lift at all it will always drop it. The only chance of winning from this set-up would be to swing the prize into the slot.

Usually machines that have huge pizes are meant to not be beaten or with an extremely low payout rate (that is how claw machines are programmed to have a full strength pull only after a certain amount of trials.)
This is not one of those times where "I have been chosen, farewell my friends" comes into play 😂
if people are curious the claw machines claws don't actually have any mechanical pressure closing them, its the opposite, the claws open via mechanical power and force and when they "Close" thats the power being turned off and the claws naturally hanging shut purely by gravity itself making it legitimately borderline impossible to actually grab anything, plushies especially due to the fact they are soft and usually smooth making your only option to hook the claw onto something and getting said plushy stuck.
The claw had a few too many drinks. 😂
I hate how those claws are set, they give you a full clamp initially then drop the strength so you feel like you can win.

The claw's screws are losen so the item falls threw.
The claw loosely grabs the toy that's why you drop it every 2 seconds and the toy is heavy.

There should be a law stating what the payout rate is, and it should be attached on the machine near the controls. This way, people can easily see if it's worth playing.
