Hi, I'm Ben King, 24 years old from London. I left the UK in August 2017 and have spent the past few years riding my Honda CRF250L motorcycle 35,000kms overland from my home in London to Pakistan, and I still have a very long way to go as I attempt to ride across every single continent in the world!
I'm currently back in England while I wait for this global pandemic to end, and as soon as I am able too I will fly back to Pakistan to continue my world bike trip!

I used hard panniers in Africa. One advantage over soft ones is that they make great seats when in camp. I still have them, but no frames Modifying a frame has given me an idea, thanks. I have soft Enduristan bags on my Desert Sled at the moment.
Great to hear your experiences with the different luggage systems. I appreciate soft vs hard luggage is a massive debate, but what is important is that it works for you. Interesting to know how much it all weighs. The trusty CRF appears to be able to carry it all, along with yourself.
his hard panniers look pretty safe cause its so high up unlike a lot of the dangerous ones

So how heavy is your hard pannier? I heard that sub frame of 250 series is weak, some people even snap their sub frame on the road. I kinda what it on my 250 rally but not sure if the sub frame will hold

Seriously though - Great video. I agree with you - Hard panniers are a life saver. I ride with them all the time :-))
Kriega is good, & I'll be getting some more of their kit this year - Your rucsack is probably one I would bvuy. I have their tool bag at present.
As for Givi - Great. I use a TankLok tank bag, but agree, a smaller one may be best for touring. My large one is only any good if I'm out for the day & just need a carry bag :-0
