The reason why this Need for Speed turned out this way, is because EA rushed Criterion to finish the game. The graphics are so realistic but lacks visual and performance customisation which most motorsport games offers nowadays. Gameplay likewise triumphs most recent Need For Speed games.
This was my first need for speed game, and I loved it, I almost beat the game on the Wii U, but I never got around to getting the Hennesy Venom. I still hop on periodically just to try to win, but I never have won. I also loved the multiplayer and doing drag races with friends and random people. Good times.
The game is so much like childhood for me, it's just a shame that you have to buy so much extra now... I used to play it so often on the Wii U back then... and its one of the most chaotic nfs games of all🤣
Taking the name of the best selling NFS game for hype and then delivering something very VERY different is always going to end in disaster. Which is what happened
The lambo intro of the blacklist is top notch The best part of the game is the boss chases with the police. Also the intros make no sense, the cops become transformers in the dlc.
NFSMW 2012 is actually the first NFS game I played, I actually just started playing recently and honestly? Its quite good. As a 4 year player of the Forza Franchise, NFS was a big change to me, especially the cops lol. Its quite fun and definitely doesn't deserve all the hate it gets.
I honestly had so much fun playing this game, it unironically made me love NFS again and now I'm playing through all the 2010s games that I never got to play before since I didn't have either the consoles or a strong enough PC to play them until last year. Also god damn, this game is just beautiful, also helps it probably had the best AA solution out of every game in the whole franchise, especially looking at you, NFS Reboot, with your ugly ass TAA without sharpenning, forcing my ass to use ReShade and fix you.
MW 2012 is SOOOOO underrated. Granted it's no MW 2005, but I love it so much ! Even more than Underground 2 which has been for a long time my 2nd best until this one came out. Fun as hell u don't have to think too much, hop in a car and feel the road, fulfill ur Need For Speed
And one more thing ! The drift system in this game is imo top tier, best of all NFS. And I've played them all. Some are very close but this one takes the cake
Worked on this game at the beginning of my career. It surely does bring out a lot of nice memories. U'd think that working on it, would make you full of it... But it wasn't the case. We would frequently play it during breaks, especially during the end phase of development
MW2012 is a downgrade version of Burnout series. Criterion didn't break this bad habit until Unbound. They only know how to imitate the existing ones, not create new ones. Today, most of the reason why NFS franchises fxxked is because of Criterion.
No it's not. NFS is being awful nowadays because it keeps sticking to the JDM fanboys like BlackPanthaa without making any needed changes and improvements in terms of gameplay structures and storytelling. Heck, even NFS HP Remastered is way better than any NFS from Ghost Games and Unbound.
I'm a huge fan of the original Most Wanted and this game simply was not what we expected as a sequel. It's a good game with a bad name essentially. Should have been called Need For Speed Burnout because that's what it is. It's a Burnout game with real car brands.

ay man, whenever i see in my inbox that u made a vid, i get a mini heart attack. u def underrated asf, keep doin what u do, much love man!
11:36 lol. Man this game gives you such a "Need for speed" feeling that I didn't get even from burnout paradise. So fast and the cars sounded like monsters.
The sound design of this game is mind blowing.
The graphics are so realistic but lacks visual and performance customisation which most motorsport games offers nowadays. Gameplay likewise triumphs most recent Need For Speed games.
Please play more of this game! it’s my favorite and i’m finally seeing others recognize its beauty.
I used to play it so often on the Wii U back then... and its one of the most chaotic nfs games of all🤣
I remember playing this a lot on my cousin’s xbox 360, i really loved it and the graphics is mind blowing tho
Taking the name of the best selling NFS game for hype and then delivering something very VERY different is always going to end in disaster.
Which is what happened
The lambo intro of the blacklist is top notch
The best part of the game is the boss chases with the police.
Also the intros make no sense, the cops become transformers in the dlc.
Underrated game. Cool musics, cool cars. Supercar era and fun to play. Dont need big af body kits and flames on every game...
(In my opinion) if their were no Crash cam it will be a lot better.
i thought there was a mod for it?
No
there is for pc even a steering cam@@alot838
@@Thorfinn0607 yeah, i remember using thats mod... but why this guy said no..
Yeah like it's really annoying
The only thing I hate about this game is the crashing. A little thing you crash so annoying
Same and you can't turn that shit off
Maybe getting upgrades helps
I still played the og most wanted on my cousins playstion 3 to this day
I remember this game, it is implied that I went to the internet cafe in the Philippines
Bro was in a police chase for half the video
You ran into him 😂 you were at THE SIDEWALK TOOO😂😂 4:55
Heck, even NFS HP Remastered is way better than any NFS from Ghost Games and Unbound.
if im right, ea was the one to rush the project.
I'm a huge fan of the original Most Wanted and this game simply was not what we expected as a sequel. It's a good game with a bad name essentially. Should have been called Need For Speed Burnout because that's what it is. It's a Burnout game with real car brands.
Are we not gonna talk about the music radio Playlist it has?
you know what fam i loved the video !!
Subbing to the channel !!
The only thing I'd say is it didn't deserve the Most Wanted title. It was fun but 2005 set the standard for that name
Everyone can hate me for it but i think the 2012 one is better than the old one but im biased i literally grew up playing this game hell i still play it to this day
Same
In graphics, because the original is easily better not even close, it has a story mode and more bosses than this one.
The best thing between this game and me is that I can drive preeettttyyy well in this game even though it's vehicle physics and the map are like the day and night.
Fun fact: if you drive off a cliff into the ocean while wanted the cops will jump after you INTO THE OCEAN. Used to do that alot when i was a kid
I will say, as a PS Vita game, it was sooo good, I also loved how it was a handheld game that was basically the exact same as the console version
"Some people might take that seriously." Is probably one of the most true facts about MW 05 fanboys.
The online for this was fun af.
MW2012 just has the best car sounds out of any car game thats what makes it stand out. The shifts feel very dramatic and violent too which is rly nice.
If this game had a different name, all the excessive hate could’ve been avoided. It was a fun game in its own right, but it certainly wasn’t deserving of the “most wanted” name. I feel if it was called something else, it would be remembered way more fondly, because it was genuinely fun
I still make videos of Most Wanted 2012 to this day!
I can't lie, I ABSOLUTELY love this game!
People hate it because there is "most wanted" on the title, they already have high hope for it, but when play it i bet they will think "it's pretty fun" cause i was like that too
Sequel for this vid. When? I want you to beat Lexus LFA
Power of GT playing in the bgm is just awsome
Putting Butterflies and Hurricanes for the intro was one of their best decisions in this game.
