This game is CPU bound game . I too have 5600g and 2060 super and my fps drops to 120fps

hello, i have a really important question, i have a 1080 ti and an i5-13600kf 16g of ram and an 165hz monitor, i have arround 200 fps, as soon as i start buildfighting i get laggy, like 80-100 fps, and none of my components are overheating or at more than 50 percent usage, any help?

Change to performance mode in fortnite settings, and play on low settings. U fps Will be over 300 like pros

@@amirwatts1430 maybe change the game user settings for fortnite. There is tutorials on UA-cam. You Can find alot og tweaks on UA-cam, just search it up 😎
some prebuilts come with a lot of bloat. try reinstalling windows and using atlas os. plenty of guides on yt on what to do. try notrodan's tutorial.

The FPS won't be as high as the vid cause of the rtx 3050. I'd recommend going for a 3060 for just a little more money

your build is crazy bro, you should be getting more than 300 FPS. Could be a lot of things that are causing your game to not run smoothly but it only happens in fortnite? so that means it's not an overheating issue or lack of optimization. I don't know how to help your situation sorry.

I use performance mode which limits the cpu and gpu utilizations to around 40-50%.

@@fav351Yea without a problem lol, the only issue is Performance mode with a Radeon GPU and sometimes it doesn't work together for some reason. That's a pretty cool budget build and you'll get good fps I can guarantee.

That is way too low for your config, you need to check ssd space left and temps

Hi, I’ve got the same specs, but i get really bad fps drops and can’t even run 144 stable. Do you maybe know why?
Should have at least 16gb ram if you already do check hwinfo and see if your cpu is throttling and make sure game is installed on an ssd. If all else fails verify game files or reset pc, then again Fortnite is terribly optimized so there will be stutters sometimes.

Make sure you have good cooling. I got an AIO cooler and it cut my temps in half and it eliminated any stutters I’d get in any game I played.
