Nice idea - like that you can try it and go back if you don't cut that tab. Not sure I want to lose clearance - my diffs always hanging up - but looks good to try out.
Looks good lowered and looks like it handled a little better. But couldn't you just use softer springs to get it lowered? Will it work the same so this way there will be no putting the shocks on the lower axle mount and doing adjustments on the panhard mount.
Just need a 4mm spacer under the shock cup. It will clear the bracket. No need to cut. But this is one way to do it if you don’t plan to ever use that option. Great video!
@@ProNoobRC if you need any more information on The spacers I used or a picture of the final stance you can email me or hit me up on Instagram. Happy to help!
If you are having that issue, your upper pan hard mount is on backwards from factory it should tuck behind servo horn with that weird offset upper link. You will know it’s in the right position as when you compress the front axle the pan hard fits into the groove across the moulded oil pan.
I found some 3d printed lower shock retaining cups that lower the spring like 3/4" for 10 bucks. Can raise back when i need quickly w no tools.

Awesome tip there. Just got mine yesterday, ant the first thing that got me was the height in the front. Great vid. 🚜💨
Yeah it looks and feels so much better now!! We hated the height they went with. But we get it.

The problem with that is the shocks can still allow the COG to raise up and also shift over which will take it over

I will have to use that mod for the Honcho with the aluminum axles it now has. Ain’t cutting these up! Lol
@@ProNoobRC it really helped mine and that thing crawls / looks good!

Have you ever thought of using a Dremel tool with a cut off disk for those small controlled cuts?
Looks and performs good! I’ll have to give it a try on my 6.
Helps a ton and looks so much better!
Good idea, are you having any clearance issues with the servo horn and pan hard?

Looks awesome man! 👍🏽
Cheers!
Wow looks like that made a huge difference to performance 😎
Thanks Nathan!
