you have no edge drawing lines on a chart. This is astrology for men. Become a plumber or hvac technician. You will be at $100k/year within 5 years. Get rich slow, not fast.

Those lines are for support and resistance. The edge is playing a profitable strategy. I was making money, just fucked up with margin. Who knows where I’d be.

@@treystevens112no you should not. Have you ever considered the money you made in the first place where just from luck? You basically was gambling. It worked until it didn’t.
If you want to better your life you need to understand that day trading is just gambling and won’t make you any money in the long run. I know it’s though but you will thank me one day.

Hey man that is really tough. I hope that you can bounce back from this quickly. I love your mentality that you'll just make it all back. If you want to make money your own way, try to start a business. Photography, lawn care, pressure washing, anything. Develop a skill that you enjoy and run with it.
Yes it's okay to be risky while we're young, but its not "uncool" to play things safe sometimes. I think you should evaluate your risk tolerance. Just my two cents though, do with it what you will.
Best of luck to you dude. Seriously.

Thanks man, gotta keep pushing on cuz nobody gonna do it for me! But creating an online business was how I got the money to invest in the first place, so I plan to start another one up after I clear my debt.
Yes I was extremely risky but I planned on being less and less risky as my money accumulated, I knew this was a possible out come. I have to operate with less risk going forward because I’m older now and closer to having a family, being in a good position for that is my main priority. I just gotta work harder now. Stay blessed 🤙🏻

Hey Bro, trading is gambling, crypto is gambling, stocks trading, swinging - risky money for more money.
Gotta get to a point where you are happy with what you have.
10K, 100K, 250K - it doesnt make you any happier, its just another number to chase.
Blessed ! its a long road but never forget, stocks are gambling unless you are invested in something for years - and lets be honset, nobody our age is doing that type of trading.

I know this story too well. One lost $100k in 2 minutes on an option. The other two lost $500k & $130k in a year or so on options as well. Keep your money folks. They made their money with their businesses to begin with. It’s that time and energy into the businesses that brought them those returns then they gambled it away. SMH. Their lives have changed in a bad way. Keep your money.

7:20 is exactly where your perspective needs to be re aligned !
Working an " actual job " for some reason has turned into such a taboo thing
Working in an industry, a trade, at a store, or for the public has somehow become the worst thing a man can do
When you look back at our parents and grandparents of generations, thats all they knew - and thats how they afforded Land, Homes, Shelter, Food, utilities, travel .
Yes there is always an opporutnity to chase your dream job , built a business and follow through . But the stability you lose , and in this situation following the trend of young men becoming traders in a no win scenario ( your loss / my loss is an example of this ) is just such a landmark on how young men need to have their perspectives re aligned to stay course, find a job that works for them that they can grow in - commit and THAT is how you build wealth .. not fast, overnight . But over years of dedication !

    • @treystevens112
      @treystevens112  6 днів тому

The thing is I don’t need stability right now, I’m young, don’t have a kid, wife, mortgage… I’m free to be risky. Working for someone else isn’t what I enjoy doing. Creating business and generating income online is what make me happy, been doing it since 16. The freedom it brings you is unmatched.

the mistakes were "i dont think it will do this or that" you have to manage you're risk and when you're risking more then 1 percent per trade you're bound to blow up. Nobody knows what price an asset will be at at any given time thats why controlling risk is more important then anything else.

Thanks for sharing your story here. I can partly relate, lost a significant amount when getting liquidated in 2021. I do hope you have somebody in real life that you talk too as well. Please keep in mind that what may feel like a passion can become an addiction, when it's not that yet. Also, maybe keep a regular, more manual job at the side, to keep a rythem, regular touch with the outside world and physical excercise, as well as a stable little income stream. Trading is mentally challenging and numbing emotions is required, yet it should not become your primary mode of operation for life.
