What people don't catch is why Osiris was the first mummy and why the Egyptians practiced it.. Osiris like innana in sumerian myths and Persephone Orpheus and other Greek heroes had to escape the underworld.. the myths are mystery school teaching device complex symbolic allegories.. it's all about transformation into a justified soul.. so to my original point Osiris being wrapped is symbolic of a cocoon. A vessel of transformation.. the Egyptians used nature to exemplify their ideas.. a mummy is a cocoon
The king being mummified and normal people not might be because a kings duty is not finished when they die. Kings still have to protect their subjects. Kings still have to provide the reins and crops. Partly why kings had to be mummified and worshiped
