Matty better learn how to throw if he's gonna be bringing the boom. Clean or not, you can't hit a guy who's known for dropping the gloves and then not expect a reaction. He can hit guys with their head down, but when the gloves come off he looks totally lost.

One of my all time favorite moments in hockey is when Tkachuk gets flung around like a stuffed animal and pounded on. And I really don't like either team. Has Tkachuk ever actually fought? Or is he just the next generation of the Marchands?

@@Balmain_jacket I do watch as much hockey as I can. Being on the west coast, we only get Boston games once in a while. I have never seen Marchand fight. I've seen him swing at other players with a ref in between them. But never actually fight.

Tkachuk from what I understand is quite popular in the Flames dressing room (as of yet - that could change), and he drags his mates into his world of chaos...This then breeds animosity with just about every rival the Flames face (LA - Edmonton - now Toronto)...The North Division will continue to fester as long as Tkachuk is in the line up.
It's this brand of hockey = the heated rivalries that I love the most.

At some point, you as a team, have to tell him that his hits are dangerous for the whole team. You have to tell him that he can no longer turtle. When you hit people the way you do, you better be prepared to drop gloves after the hit, especially with someone like Kassian.
