great video man. question...when you added the effects compression etc. did you add them to a seperate mixer channel and then just route the channel the guitars were playing in to the channel with all the effects on? or did you do all the effects on the mixer channel you recorded the guitars through?

for the latency you should be able to sync it up if you lower the buffer size in the audio settings, i keep mine around 192

Good content but I missed the part where you explain how to set up (in the settings) the inputs in FL Studio to record external sources.

Great video, my man. What would you recommend doing with the balancing if you have 2 different guitar parts with harmonies that you want isolated left and right? Would you do one take, or take the second takes and have them fade more towards the middle?

This is a pretty useful tutorial but does it work with electric guitar and distortion? I am trying to figure out how to get distorted guitar riffs to have notes ring out with the same clarity and brightness while still being able to get gnarly pinch harmonics and squeels but have had no luck, i am going to take this tutorial into consideration during my next fl studio recording session (which is right now) any help would be greatly appreciated, also, great tutorial, i recommend making more considering you were out of the 1,000 or so tutorials I have watched cut straight to the point and made it easily understandable. Will subscribe once i get a responce xp 🤑🤑🤑🤑 thanks again man

get a LR Baggs M1 or a cheaper alternative is a seymour duncan woody. Or buy lewitt 140s or 040s and xy mic if your audio interface has 2 inputs
