@@M275AMGRestorations 340 is crazy dangerous in such heavy car, especially because its a GT car, you might want to upgrade the brake pads if you didnt already.

Great video! I took mine to the San Bernardino Pass 2 years ago... the W216 is an incredible car to do a cross-Europe trip in. Supreme sound-proofing, great seats, huge luggage space... Good luck!
Great video and big congrats on buying this beautiful V12 BiTurbo machine! I own an S65 AMG and I bought the S65 purely for the engine alone. The V12 BiTurbo makes any Mercedes a special car to own in my eyes. We’ve just come back from a Europe trip also, we ended up doing just over 6600km in three weeks and it was a great experience. It would have been even better if I had taken my S65 but I decided to take a different car instead which performed perfect but a V6 car was no match to the V12 😄 I hope the problem turns out to be something not too big but then again, after owning V12 Mercedes for the past 6 years, I know exactly how much things cost on these cars 🤕

I know how time consuming editing a single video for YT can be, but I'd suggest that you'd add a spare part numbers and similar stuff. Either like "pop ups" into the vid, or at the description box.

@M275AMGRestorations you'll be fine. I've done it on my E66 760li and you just need to drop the rear tyres by 5psi to reduce slip. Traction control off if possible.

Thanks for the nice comment! Yes they are very rare. I did think the facelift was a bit too aggressive when I chose to go with the pre-face lift, but it actually has started to grow in my eyes! No matter what, it is as you write, an amazing long distance cruiser!

Iv seen more rolls royce, Bentleys, astons, lambos than I have seen CLs. I'd love to see more videos and your experience in living with one day to day and how practical it is and my main question is CAN AN ADULT ACTUALLY FIT COMFORTABLY IN THE BACK...

Yeeeaah! It is unlimited and I believe it will do a bit more if it’s less traffic and flat road. People say CL65 top out around 340km/h, we will see if we can try that soon😎

There is so little top speed videos of the M275 and M279 platforms that it pissed me Off because its such a capable powerplant and with very fee modifications you can achieve some great performance numbers from 100km/h onwards. It would be cool if you have a GPS speed measuring device as well to get the most accurate speed possible when you do get the chance to attempt the top speed I know RennTech have packages for it to get it to 700+bhp reliably if you are ever into tuning it
Yes it came some smoke looks from the turbo. I’ve bought some tools to try to find where the sound is coming from, also willl see if I can get the camera down there 😎
I found old pictures of the car and it seems like it was from factory! Perhaps special designo order? However it was refurbished with new leather at the dealership where I bought the car, so it is looks 99,9% original 😆 I know there is one guy in poland that is a specialist in refurbishing steering wheels, can see if I find his website and send to you
@@M275AMGRestorations also, your noise could be coming from a failed pulsation dempener on the ABC pump. I know you showed some smoke in the area near the turbo. Hopefully there isn't an issue with the turbo.

Sorry, I couldn't really make out the knocking sound. Be mindful that if you have no history on them, another accumulator may also have blown, therefore avoid potholes or very poorly surfaced roads. Have a safe journey.
I wonder why some people drive like that... They see a faster car comes in inside lane, and begin to overtake. I was taught to drive in safe and defensive way. And this is really not it... I don't think I've ever done this in my life, not once

Sounds like buzzing. Possibly a failed pulsation damper. Best of luck to you.

Thats good to hear! The drivetrain is quite bulletproof actually and C216 built like a tank. Just need to keep everything tip top
