I have yet to try frying a turkey and part of that was a concern over safety, what I really liked about this was it made the whole process seem more organized and manageable .
    Thanks for sharing.

5 years ago I lost both my parents to a drunk driver 2 days after Thanksgiving. Im thankful for all the memories of past Thanksgivings we were able to spend together, getting up at 4:00 AM to start getting ready for the day. What I am thankful for - is Robert and Sarah sharing their home with me. My health requires that I limit some of my physical abilities, and as an amateur photographer, I dream of one day traveling to Florida and photographing some of the wildlife on the ranch. I am thankful that people like Rob and Sarah allow me to travel with them through their videos to other places around the world and see the sights and hear the sounds I would otherwise not be able to see and hear. I was told I had 2 maybe 3 years to live in 2013 after several heart surgeries, but here I am at 68, and it's people like the Arringtons that help keep my will to survive by their public sharing of faith and family values that are not wasted on frivolous things. Thank you Robert and Sarah for all you do for me and others. Finally, Sarah, what I crave, is my grandmother's (born in 1896) sourdough and sausage stuffing. God Bless you both, and one final thought, I am also thankful to our Lord above who gives us reason to believe.

Happy Thanksgiving! Definitely my Dad’s gravy is my favorite. Thankful our last year being together with family on Thanksgiving he stood over my left shoulder and spoke everything I needed to know how to make the gravy. At the table he made the first slice and then said, Okay Ron, come on over here and carve this nice looking bird we caught. Miss him, dearly. Me, his only daughter, in between two sons spent more days hunting and fishing. Mother just passed Nov 2 and while yesterday was already different in more ways than this year Jesus eased this new hurt we all are feeling so memories could be shared, and our hearts filled with understanding the thankfulness we have knowing they are in heaven together feeling blessed the traditions of Thanksgiving they began together with the Love for family took flight as it was intended, together forever. I was especially blessed to hear my children and grandchildren say they are who they are cause they had Mammie and Bampi in their life, everyday. Last night was the first night I didn’t cry before falling asleep♥️

The word taxidermy is derived from the Greek words taxis and derma.[1] Taxis means "arrangement", and derma means "skin" (the dermis).[1] The word taxidermy translates to "arrangement of skin".[1]
Taxidermy is practiced primarily on vertebrates[2] (mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, and less commonly on amphibians) but can also be done to larger insects and arachnids[3] under some circumstances. Taxidermy takes on a number of forms and purposes including hunting trophies and natural history museum displays. Museums use taxidermy as a method to record species, including those that are extinct and threatened,[4] in the form of study skins and life-size mounts. Taxidermy is sometimes also used as a means to memorialize pets.[5]
A person who practices taxidermy is called a taxidermist. They may practice professionally, catering to museums and sportsman (hunters and fishermen), or as amateurs (hobbyists). A taxidermist is aided by familiarity with anatomy, sculpture, painting, and tanning.

I like the beard! I’m thankful for my health, my family, my friends, and my relationship with God. The dish I enjoy the most is my grandmother’s homemade dressing. I’ve been privileged to help her make it the past couple of years from the scritch scratch lol. We use cornbread as a base, chicken, celery, sage, onions, and mostly the stock from the boiled chicken to give it some moisture. My family doesn’t enjoy a cake like consistency of dressing, we like it when we have to eat it with a spoon. Happy thanksgiving to you and yours, be safe, and God bless!

My oldest son Kyle's favorite is homemade green bean casserole using fresh green beans... Makes a huge difference. My son Zachary's favorite side is a little bit strange considering we did it today for the first time, and that was duck. Along with the typical Thanksgiving food I roasted two duck halves and he thought it was absolutely delicious which it was. My favorite side dish is stuffing with breakfast sausage grilled into it. In my 43 years on this earth, we have always injected our turkeys with Sprite and Tony's and coat the bird with Tony's the day prior. This method works perfectly for frying and also in the oven. Much love from Mississippi. Happy Thanksgiving!

Here in Nevada, theres not many turkey around. I have 40 acres & usually raise 8 to 10 turkey every year. They run the property during the day & I lock them up at night to keep the predators off. They're pretty much free range. Processed at home and they're delicious! Happy Thanksgiving y'all!

I love the recipe. Looks like even I could pull it off. Thankful for just livin til this day. This yr been rough on everybody. My mom made an oyster cornbread stuffing that I still pine for. My grandad had a walkin smoker. He had hams and peasants and bacon in there. Smoked peasant is something I have tried to find locally w/no luck.

I don't always fry a turkey but when I do I have always broken it down prior to frying for the same exact reasons you stated, it's much easier to deal with.
