- How many clothes do you need when you become a longterm cruiser? We get asked that many times. Well, this may be unnecessary, what do you think?
Bringing your pet with you to the Caribbean is a huge undertaking and one of main things you need to be sure of is the ability to easily exercise your pet when and where you can.
We explore Guadeloupe to find out how easy it is to find dog-friendly beaches.

Yes, a cat is definitely easier lol.
We are privileged to still have parents with us and it does make it more difficult to travel like we all do. We do what we can though because you are right, we need to look after ourselves too xx 🥰⛵🐾

Oh he owns more 🙄. Mine on the other hand are probably bigger than his, but definitely not so many 🤣🤣🥰⛵️
A good use for some of the keks could be polishing the hull. 19 pairs...some of them must be vintage. Glad to see you all back together and a marvellous tour of the island, keep up the good work 🙏

A wonderful catch up! Glad all went well. Lost my dog earlier this year. Not planning on another for a while as we look to focus on sailing. It is fun to watch Gus running around though.
Sorry about your dog, they are such great companions. I'm not sure we'd know what to do without Gus now, although it does have its downsides whilst sailing and we are finding that more and more at the moment. Gus sends you hugs and a wag of his tail. 🥰🐾⛵️
I've always been a coffee drinker, but sense moving on the boat I drink a lot more, really enjoy coffee now , but we still drinkers lol
Alot of times I wish we had our dogs with us but also glad we don't have to worry about things like this with them.
We have never been apart for more then 4 days, and that was one time lol I'd be in trouble if we were apart for 3 weeks lol
It is so good to know that we are not the only ones who have experienced the coffee-love on the boat.
There are definitely many pros and cons to having a dog on board. Its getting quite costly here, but much cheaper in the Med 🐾🥰⛵️

@SailingSVCordelia no , we still looking around . I do love our boat , so worst case if we can't sell or find a replacement we will keep her and do some changes to the inside for some better liveability
How many pairs of pants dose one man need? 😂😂 there were some beautiful beach’s there. Here in the uk a lot of beaches dogs arnt allowed on until a certain time x

Yes, Guadeloupe has been our most favourite island in the Caribbean so far, we loved it.
Having a dog in the Caribbean is not the easiest of things, but we wouldn't have it any other way now xx 🥰⛵🐾

Dog doo doo is a big problem here. Not all owners are diligent unfortunately and they are worse on the beach🤬🤯Where kids are playing
I know the UK has a 'no dogs during summer' on most beaches and I really don't mind that because there are so many other places to exercise a dog. You are right though, irresponsible owners who don't pick up their dogs doo gives all dog owners a bad name and should definitely never be near children 🥰⛵🐾
