I've seen Shinedown live 4 times. Each time with my daughter who is now 23. The first time we saw them together was at The Hard Rock Cafe in Dallas. She was 11 at the time. We walked right up to the front of the stage & their lead singer bent down and sang most of their huge song "45" right to her. The last time that we saw them again together was last summer in Houston on their Planet Zero tour. They are incredible. Their album Sound Of Madness is a 100% start to finish perfect album. Their latest album Planet Zero and every album in between are as good as they come. Second Chance a song off of Sound Of Madness is what turned us both on to the band. Me in my mid 40's and my daughter at age 10. That song may be their biggest but they must have close to 50 huge songs by now. Cut The Cord may be that rocker you are looking for. These guys are as good as rock music gets. Thanks for playing this.

They've been playing together for 20+ years. Wide range of music, from ballads, upbeat songs like this, and hard rock heavy sound. If you want a real banger, check out Sound of Madness, the title track of their third studio album.

Glad you came across them I think Brent Smith is a great vocalist. Brent and the band Barry, Eric and Zach are just so sweet met them multiple times. Also Brent & Zach have a acoustic project Smith and Myers they do covers & original songs acoustic. Definitely family friendly don't swear on stage.
