This is my first sample library demonstration video, so I apologize in advance for my lack of technical expertise in putting this together. I used Quicktime for the screen record and iMovie for the chapter/patch names. All segments are original improvisations.
These are the factory patches out of the box with no EQ, compression etc. For all examples hammer and pedal noises have been turned down to very low levels, usually below 30%. While useful in some instances regarding realism, as a performing and recording jazz pianist for over 40 years, I find they can be a distraction.
I am a complete beginner at using my computer to create music. The pandemic and the 'unfriendly to jazz' region where I now live combined to virtually end my life as a performing jazz pianist. In my desperation to create something, anything, I turned to my computer for the first time in my life. The learning curve is steep for someone like me, but it has literally saved my life.
This is a gorgeous and inspiring piano library! A beautiful piano, meticulously recorded. The level of sonic customization and nuanced shaping available is astonishing. The "atmosphere" layers are just a divine addition and so tastefully applied even right out of the box.
