He was also a writer on The Tonight Show, and once 'streaked' Johnny Carson on the show.
That clip is somewhere on UA-cam. I saw it first-run back when, plus I saw it again a few months ago on YT. Hilarious. Johnny was surprised at first, then cracked up, laughing.
