Anyone could have asked him to give the first 5 minutes of his presentation he was to make or maybe describe the course at university that he liked the most toward his doctorate.... and he’d answer ....”Duhhhhhhhhhhh”....
@wolfennyc Yeah I get what your saying but the movie itself could of been a lot better I mean 70% of the movie he's trying to get his identity back and people are trying to kill him and nothing new is happening, What should of happened was this- he gets in the accident, strange things are happening (like his identity being gone stolen) and all of a sudden he knows how to kill people like Jason Bourne and throughout the movie it should of been him piecing together that he was this assassin.
I'm confused about the new editing style.... I mean I can understand if the previous uploads the longer extended conversation could have bored other viewers, but it does seem like some reviewers are in the middle of conversations. It's a new style of editing, you guys can do what you want if it's a demand from your viewers, but I kinda wish it didn't feel too out of context within other reviewers.
I just finished seeing it a few minutes ago, after hearing the guys mention it again during their review of Taken 2. Ben is right, it is better than the original Taken. Good flick.
I enjoyed the twist but it also didn't really work. You would think an assassin who was part of a secret organization would have some muscle memory of his training.
This movie was good but the ending surorises me because he doiesn't know how to fight. Matt Damon was more convincing in the bourne series with the same plot.
I am 4 years late to the "unknown" party, but i found this to be a fun rental. I especially liked the Berlin location shots and the way Laim traded out for an even younger love interest. I give it an 8.2!
Ask Alonso if he thinks he can beat Watson. If this is as good as taken I'm definitely there. I love watching thrillers where I don't have to worry if it's going to win an Oscar.
So when he lost his memory it was like he restart his personality? Because he could just have asked Cole to forgive him and getting out of his way, maybe to take another "case" of the "company", and be partners with Liz again. But he "awoke" being a good person.
This has been done to death. I guess film junkies can be forgiven for occasionally obsessing over technique at the expense of originality, but I don't have the money to spend buying Bizarro World retreads of every pop culture landmark I'd absorbed by 1980. Corporate media is just eating it's own tail, or climbing up it's own butt. Either way, it's a Godawful bore.
Better than Taken? The only thing bad about Taken was the horrible acting of Maggie Grace (his daughter), who was also horrible in Faster. She is either screwing her way to the top or has family connections...January Jones was a poor choice for this film because I buy her as the blond bimbo she plays on Mad Men, but not as a super spy.
I've hated Liam Neeson in everything that he's been in. I'm not saying this because he was in Star Wars, because it was this movie that reminded me. But Liam sure seems a lot like Harrison Ford nowadays.

How is this similar to Taken? The ending was really implausable, but it was still good.
@ughzean Are you saying he is bigger than Jon Voigt?
@SirPwn4lot You can't really compare movies in that way. If you want to compare, you should look within their respective genres.
ANYTHING WITH LIAM NEESON IS AWESOME!!!!!
I figured the plot from the start, when he first met his wife after the accident, still I enjoyed the whole thing. Great movie. Neeson is the man! :)
What plot?
saw it tonight i thought it was pretty cool.

@ughzean
need I remind you of Clash of the Titans?

The Game with Michael Douglas was also a good movie and it looks like a bit the same.

Taken + Bourne Identity people say
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THAT!?
@ughzean
Except that whole Star Wars thing.
