hello! I want to ask a question I know ordinary crane has two engines(one for operating another for driving) but I noticed this crane has another engine in the connection(connect counterweight) so what this extra engine action

Powers hydraulic pumps for raising the boom, turning the hoists, all crane functions. The crane has hydraulic motors on the hoists.
