There is also the REM 21 (Reticle Enhancement Module) that illuminates the fiber optic to take care of the washout problem. It attaches to the left side of the sight. It has 11 brightness settings so you can adjust it in al lighting conditions. It is made of the same polymer as AR pistol grips and is very rugged. IWI actually torture tested it and it passed all their tests. The left corner of the fiber optic does glow in very low light so putting some vinyl tape over that area would be a good idea.

I have this on one of my 22 LR rifles. I went with the triangle reticle. I also own two of their RDS Pro v2 optics and they have been great. I was wanting something that was compatible with my astigmatisms. While not perfect, they have been the best I have tried so far.

I've seen some IDF with the m21 with a tan rubber cover that goes over the front snd top fiberoptics,but I cannot find one for sale.
