Wood totally emerged as the MVP star of the band in 2018 tour, and it only continued with the Las Vegas shows. This song may be the best example of her perfect power pocket drumming with a groove so becoming, that it made all the other artists sound good. The rolls at around the 3:00 mark are textbook. It almost gives you the feeling that the entire song could be done with just her drumming. I would love to hear her play the songs of some of Lange's other band productions. The current tour is really missing that star performance and theatrics she brought to the arena shows.
The spirit has gone. She looks like she's going through the motions for the money. Las Vegas residency is akin to.the retirement home for past glory performers. It's a distorted vision of past magic..it doesn't always work. I certainly wouldn't pay to see this
#1 She DOESNT need the money #2 ITs a lot easier on an artist to perform a residency somewhere instead of the headache traveling from town to town. A lot of younger talents are also doing it. Keep your little monies and continue watching her on UA-cam like you’re doing.
@@Imthebossinthishouse the money is very good in a Las Vegas residency and of course not ( in your opinion) they aren't doing it for the money ..I am not so naive to believe that. Its a juke box gig...nostalgic trip only...its a retirement home for singers....sad and boring...
@@voicevoice2053 That’s their jobs, just like you and I, still have to get up and “go to work” Just bc they in a residency doesn’t make them no less than if they were on the road traveling city to city. Some of these artists have net worths in the millions and half billion dollars worth ( Ms Twain) so I’m sure they not hurting to be there or on the road. All I’m saying any artist young or old would love to have a shot at doing Vegas. Go check out the young ones who’s joining in this Vegas trip 😘 So I totally disagree on your thinking it’s a retirement home. Many of singers left Vegas residency and went back on the road and made millions. Put your grandma in a retirement home and see if she gets out and go back to work on her own. 🙃
She doesn’t do it for the money. She does it for her fans and makes sure they have a great time at her shows. Her spirit isn’t gone she has made a great comeback. Keep your money and your comments to yourself.
