I had a feeling that Liam took some inspiration from wall e in terms of the romantic side N as wall e and v as eva and to shorten up there are a lot of similar traits with a character had a crush on somebody N has a crush on V back in the mansion days and wall e has a crush on Eva when she arrived but however both V and Eva focus more on their missions rather than other people feelings and wall e understand it and do whatever it takes to help her succeed in her mission as for N I pretty sure that N wil help out V mental situation maybe when she had a mental breakdown N will probably cheered her up or probably do anything to make her happy because V has been a lot of physical and mental pain anyway the the reference of wall e and N with Eva and V are just a lot hope we would had a wall e and Eva ending
