Everyone keeps saying they are disappointed in the way Kenny is doing this year, but I think we all forget that last year his arms were mangled still and he wasn’t even supposed to be able to hold a fork. This guy is a champion in my eyes!
Andy Street Agreed! Just to see him out there racing every weekend and remain healthy throughout the whole season is a huge accomplishment.
Seriously. The fact that he's been so consistent and is still a title contender despite his still very recent injuries say a lot.
His consistency this season has been amazing and he went from 23rd to 8th in Daytona. Dudes incredible. Just gets unlucky.

All these soundbites are from top podcasts, from guys' whose opinions are noticeably respected. I doubt one person tunes into all the different podcasts, so combining all the different ones is a pretty cool touch in my opinion. I don't see you producing a better series??
It's way better with the podcast soundbites, fresh idea thats never really been used in a motocross series before. Makes it way more interesting then the same old voiceover guy

Let's not forget Ken almost lost his arm and then broke his arm after. The way he is riding this year is amazing when you think about how much he has had to adjust. We've seen glimpses of his former self every now and then so I think he'll be back eventually.

You guy's knock it out of the park every time with this series, I'm always looking forward to the next episode. I was absolutely gutted for Kenny losing that race, I want him to get a win SO bad, but Webb was in beast mode that night both of them put on a phenomenal race.
I LOVE this series! no other series has made me want to train harder, and bust my ass more to go out and just turn the fastest laps I can, lap after lap.

Man O man!!!! Damn. Roxzen was RIGHT THERE!!!! When he took his foot off to shove coop aside he lost the .0002 seconds he needed. Damn! Had he kept his foot on he would have had it! He would have won. I was watching it a few times however. I dont think Kens foot was pulled off the peg was it?
These talking heads need to understand something, they ask " why hasnt Kenny won?" The real question is , "how is Kenny even competing?" Ken , whether he knows this or its subconscious but hes racing himself into mental shape, his body is probably close to 100 but his mental is probably at 70. If Kenny doesnt push it to please the media and stays patient ? He will be competing for the title and # of race wins in a season next year. Coop is nothing but impressive , hes finally ona bike he can compete and reaching his potential, that damn Yamaha almost crushed every ounce of hope he had , thank Jesus they released him , nobody wins on em, you either crash out, run 10th or get hurt trying to get to the front , do they even have a rider on the bike that started the series? This is gonna sound crazy but if I was Tomac ? I'd leave Kawasaki , if I was kawi I'd release Tomac to make room for Adam, him quiting the last 2 weeks would tell me all I needed to know.

How much / how hard are riders allowed to run into one another in this type of racing?
Well, here's the thing, they call it "bar bangin" for a reason. Bikes hit each other all of the time in supercross, especially during the holeshot, so much so that it would be nearly impossible to prove which collisions were accidental and which are on purpose, and it's probably due to this fact that the AMA supercross actually does not even have any rules regarding collisions (at least from what I can see in the 2018 rulebook available online). Now, with that said, I stopped watching SX about a decade ago, and back then, this maneuver would have been called out publically for being exactly what it is - a blatant hit job. In fact I had seen this play out at least once before, where a rider on the final turn of a race chose to take an absurd line that no one would ever in their right mind consider taking unless of course the intent was to cut someone off, and it resulted in a stolen win. I can't recall who the riders were, but I do recall the outage, and I also can't recall if anything was done to correct it.
Correcting it by mediation would be a very slippery slope due to the fact that this type of thing probably happens a dozen times in any given race, and if you're going to intervene with it in one occurrence near the finish line, you'd have to address all of the other times this happens on random turns all over the track.
Basically it's a rule that if you go into someone with the intent of doing damage tyler bowers did on Barcia or Mike Alessi did on Broc Tickle. If you go into someone with the "kamikaze" style where you in the process take yourself out than the AMA/FIM will disciple you anywhere from a small fine to losing your rights to race. Basically try riding as clean and respectfully as possible and you'll never have to worry

Marvin is burnt out with baker, when mav switch's teams, he'll start having fun and definitely be a title contender week in and week out. There's a thing called overtraining and overthinking. Tomac wins races and championships without giving a thought to Aldon baker.

Why are Cairoli and Herlings (I know ill) not riding supercross?
I don't think they need to prove themselves here, personally. They proved it last year at MXdN, and learning to ride supercross (if Covington is anything to go by) takes a while, and isn't for everyone.
@@bryanfellenbaum9250The Euros are the fastest at MX right now and they should be, as it is all they practice and race for. Herlings and Cairoli would truly struggle if they jumped into SX this weekend. You were straight up right about SX. It's so different from racing MX. The successful guys have been racing it since even the Mini's now (at some form of shortened and less technical track). It would be the toughest for Cairoli having just raced MX his whole career and he's a bit older now. If Herlings fully committed who knows? But it would take him time. MX is physically more taxing on your body but SX is more about rhythm and hitting your marks on a much more dangerous track with larger consequences. It took me months just to get in a healthy lap on a local SX track here. Tho...lot's of people would love to see more head to head of USA vs Europe. That's just my shitty 2 cents worth.
